You barely need to be in shape to do 4-5km/h on those. The hardest part isn't enduring to the 1-2 hour mark, its forcing yourself to regulate your breath properly during the first 5 minutes.
Protip:
If you are going to do a interview at the gym, do the interview as you have done half an hour or a hour on those things. You will be completely fucking drenches, and boiling. And it looks impressive.
