Gym Requirements

You can't argue against this as being the most basic requirement for serious "lifters" to even be allowed to touch the sacred space of man known as the iron jungle or the gym.

the functional strength requirement difference between 20 push ups and 10 pulls up is immense

    you are moronic

Both are equally achievable by average man unless obese. Filters out morons and fatsos.

20-30? so if you can do more than 30 you're not allowed?
also creating arbitrary things you have to achieve before starting to lift is moronic. everyone should be doing weight training from the moment they hit puberty. earlier if they show interest themselves before puberty.

    >cant do pull up
    >train on pull down machine using percentage of body weight to train
    >increase weight till you can do a few body weight pull ups
    >keep going till you hit 8 reps
    >add weights to the pull up to progress further

    Or

    >can't do a pullup
    >just dangle like a moron hoping it trains the muscles somehow
Yeah, you're moronic and a normie for thinking "fitness" means doing 100 reps of body weight exercises.
Take a dumbell too heavy to lift, and straing against it, you aren't doing any work and you won't get any muscle growth till you reduce the weight till you can actually lift it. Same goes for pulls ups, if you can't do 1 rep to start off then you can't really progress, you're just straining yourself against a weight you can't move.

Never said any of those things, schizo take your meds you missed your last set.

      >30 dips
      Are you 100lbs women lul

Are you a fatso that can't do more than 10? Do you gas out at 5? What a moron are you brain damaged?

      >sporadic levels of difficulty
      >useless shit like planks and bodyweight squats
The gym requirement should be money last I checked but these are decent enough requirements for someone to be allowed to talk to me.

Money doesn't treat anyone with genetic potential any different.

      > Sporadic.

They are "Average" strength gains to gain bragging rights on being basic strong in bodyweight movements that gym goers should be able to do in order to not embarrass oneself or injure oneself due to having a weak structure.

10 is fine, 15 is doable but 20 is the max.
At 175lbs I regularly do, bodyweight, 12+ reps for sets.
I can probably do 20, but 30 is ridiculous

I could do 30 reps of dips and bench press 2pl8 for reps right after. Suck it.

Money is what you use to pay for things like gym memberships. It's called not being a Black person.

        >They are "Average" strength gains to gain bragging rights on being basic strong in bodyweight movements that gym goers should be able to do in order to not embarrass oneself or injure oneself due to having a weak structure.
The only ones worth bragging about are 30 dips and 20 chinups and even that's only if you weigh more than 185lbs. Thinking that's even near the level of 30 pushups outs you as a dyel.
Thinking bodyweight squats and planks aren't the most trivial shit outs you as a fat moron. My 2 year old daughter has done these.

I trained pull ups by doing negatives. Couldn't do any maybe 4 weeks ago. Now I can do 2, and my progress is speeding up.

said. I tried doing leg raises and tore my abdominal wall because straining against the weight of my own legs was too much for me to handle. Using machines, I can adjust the weights to match my strengt, not overexert myself and gradually progress.

These requirements are bullshit, but I think there should be a suggested level of bodyweight fitness before you join (planks, push-ups, running etc). Otherwise, you’re just spending money on something that can be done at home for free. Pull-ups make no sense as that requires a bar that you won’t easily get without a gym

should 30 dips be that easy? I only do them with rings and try to do them slow and controlled, but I can't do more than 10. I'm a beginner but still, 30 sounds like a lot

yeah but is the difference that big or am I just still weak on them? I can do 10 pullups but I don't think I could do 30 dips on bars, I certainly couldn't do 20 on rings and probably not even 15

Only open to about 1% of the general population, the gym has about 20 people paying a monthly fee and maybe 3-4 one-timers a week. None of them buy overpriced shakes or pay for personal trainers because they're experienced enough to know they don't need it. The owner goes broke in 2-3 months and the gym closes. Very good plan anon, let me know when your business is up so I can give it the 5 star review it deserves for being based. I'll unironically open a gym where only shapewear bawds will be allowed, with designated selfie and tiktok areas, market it as a safe space for free women who are not ashamed of their bodies, and sell them vegan protein shakes for 10 times their value.
