Should I consider laser hair removal?
I have very hairy legs, ass and chest, and my hair is black.
I find it appallingly unaesthetic

shaving is itchy and time consuming.
Money aside, how good is laser hair removal?

Seconding this. I'm not super hairy, but I have light to medium hair all over. I need to get my back and shoulders done.

I have heard laser doesn't really last though.

Id love to know results too. I dont mind my chest or leg hair but my back is just nasty. Would love to know if laser removal works well

I'm fine with my chest hair but my back hair makes me itchy but at the same time I don't want to get rid of it.

I'm a 24 y/o male, did 8 or so sessions of it and still have hair on my back lmfao. The lady doing it had the machine cranked up to the highest power setting possible and it fricking hurt, yet I didn't get any lasting benefit past the first month or so.

Yeah, that's what I've read before. What model laser was it and how much did it cost?

I read a post on reddit once by a guy that had electrolysis done. That seems way more time consuming and expensive.

It was one of the Candela machines, don't recall which one. Sessions were $200 a pop though that's at a discounted rate since she was a family friend.

So $1600 for basically nothing? That's pretty brutal.

I've heard anecdotally that it can take multiple sessions and even then the hair can come back after a while

on average six sessions to get rid of hair then once every 2-3 yesrs to destroy the hair that pops back ip

Did 8 IPL sessions for my monkey back at 26. It worked just fine for a a couple years, but now five years later the hair is (very thinly) growing back and I still have the thick pube hair on places that were hairless five years ago. All in all would recommend as there was next to no pain. It's just not forever

honestly if it lasts 2 or 3 years it’s still way better than having to shave every day

2 to 3 years sounds like a good trade off. I only trim up my back and shoulders when I know I'll be taking my shirt off, otherwise it's just to time consuming to get it all. Wish I had a gf that would do it for me 🙁

Pretty sure you are supposed to do maintenance sessions, bro.
My gf started a laser hair removal treatment after we started dating, she was removing from her armpits and the pusi and asscrack area.
During the actual treatment, which took about a year, she'd go there once a month. Just recently she went for her last session and it's smooth as frick, it looks as if she never had any hairs on those areas.
She will still need to go from time to time to maintain those results but instead of going from month to month it's something like once every 3~6 months.
Laser is definitely not permanent if you do the treatment and then stop altogether, you need to maintain it.
Of course there are differences between removing from the pussy and removing from a large ass area like a man's back, but it definitely worked for her.

      That really sucks.
My gf paid for the treatment as a whole not each individual session, so she would get "free" sessions as long as needed to achieve the desired results. Way safer.

sounds nice to have a gf with silk smooth pussi
my conservative asian gf fully embraces the bush and categorically refuses to shave it (although she did get laser for her armpits)

how much did your gf pay?

if that’s the case what’s the benefit of laser vs just shaving regularly? does laser really feel smoother than shaven?

well, the main benefits are not having to constantly shave your genitalia which is a lot of work. Plus, in the case of my girl, she is very white and has a sensitive skin, everytime she'd shave her skin would be irritated with those red dots. Now frick yes it's very very smooth, as I said, it's like there never was any hair there. Think of it like this, is like the skin on her pussy is just like the skin of her asscheek, very very smooth.
Before, even if she shaved in the same day it was possible to feel even if just a bit of the hair, and on the next day it'd be a bit apparent already.

          really don't remember.
my gf is the opposite of yours, before the treatment I actually asked her to leave a 1week bush for me but she'd refuse, she absolutely hated having hair there, I never saw her pussy with more than 2~3 days of hair growth.

yeah they can. Here in France it's called SIF (sillon inter fessier, literally inter-ass-crack) and they charge 40€ per laser session.

Isn't the point of ass/taint hair to prevent chafing? As in, that's the entire evolutionary reason why it exists. It seems like a bad idea for someone who lifts to get rid of nature's own lubricant.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm 26 with a little bit of stubble on my chest, and a happy trail. I really want a hairy chest but don't know if it'll grow in when I'm older like my beard did.

What can I do to ensure I get a hairier chest? I want it to be wide across the chest area, not a little tuft in between
