Well a couple pounds of that is probably water weight and you could lose it in a couple days but if you want to preserve that progress you should start tracking again tomorow. Weight unfortunately is a lot easier to gain than to lose

I quit lifting and roids and had a minor emotional breakdown over some bint, then a few months later had major surgery for a complex, unrelated health issue and didn't do shit again for 5 years due to persistent issues. All good now though, and started rooning a few monts back and lifting again (natty) last month.

Doubt I'll get back what I had, not doing roids again, but it feels great to lift again anyway.

Yeah. Got hit by a drunk driver when I was walking home at night. Towards the end of my recovery I got cancer on top of it. Beat both but I went a solid 4 years without touching weights. By the end of it I weighed about 120ish pounds at 6'0 and I'm still working on getting some weight back, but my doc doesn't want me lifting as I have stitches post-surgery

Never lost all my gains but I have periods in life where I can't really eat properly and when I am on a constant deficit I neither have the energy to lift nor can I make any gains. I consider that "cutting", but since I'm not lifting during that time I am obviously losing a lot of muscle, too. Luckily it never took long to recover. My longest break in 1.5 years were 8 weeks due to a herniated disc and I was back to normal after 4 weeks.

Yes. I had an extremely stressful job with long hours. I stopped going to the gym and started eating junk food for about 1-2 years. I lost a ton of weight (I'm naturally skelly) and developed some chronic injuries that I'm still dealing with to this day (~5 years later).

After 2 years of consistent lifting and eating healthy, I've gotten all my muscle back plus an extra 20lbs or so. I'm 31 for reference. It's never too late to get back to the grind.

Yes. I fricked up my lower back doing dead lifts. I was on steroids then (i dont care if it wasnt natty i would say your girl didnt seem to care but i know none of us have a w*man) so when I was fricked up I got off the joose and it took me close to a year before the people mechanic said I was good to start back again. Then a few months later I fricked up my rotator cuffs (no joose this time) and had to stop while they recovered. Im finally back again. People mechanic wants me to do rotator cuff exercises 3 to 4 times a week now. Im not going to get back to when I was joosing, but it feels good to just be able to go pick up circles again

      >he didnt have a home calisthenics routine to preserve his gains during covid or make concrete weights or do weighted pullups in the woods with rope tied around a big rock

Once when I was a youngin in college. It was towards the end of summer. College gym was too far and out of the way, had no money for food, was drinking a ton and doing mdma twice a week. I was big before then having started working out early. I still remember catching a glimpse of my reflection sitting on a bus at night and seeing skinny my arms had become. Never again
