    Heavy deadlifts. Found out a 5x5 on deadlifts was delivering a lot more results that 225 for 12 x because I was afraid of going heavy on deadlift.

      I would do conventional maxes on Monday and then Jefferson maxes on Wednesday for about 2.5 months and then a month after that I had gone from a 285 max to a 420 max. That’s what’s so funny about deadlifts, if you have a lot of mass and a shit deadlift you’re just not doing them lmao.

    Leg extensions and hamstring curls in the last few months

    I was mostly working out from home since the pandemic so I was basically just doing barbell squats and deadlifts. I feel like I got a little bit more oomph in my legs after I started doing some light machine work after compounds

          Not him but deadlifts give a very high return relative to the volume you put in so if you’re doing more than 3 sets you’re doing too much. I did 5,3,1 deadlifts twice a week but only because that was literally the only major compound I was doing with any intensity and I was using a variant on the second session to make it less risky.

    Waiter curls from Athlean X. I do them on the preacher bar bench for a longer stretch. My bicep has gotten massive and have never had elbow pain since changing to it compared to normal bicep curls.

    I've been doing 8x8 and 6x6 and my arms are blowing up. Also ditching the 3-5 minute rest autism and just doing 8 different lifts for 4 sets each with sub 1 minute rests. I always had problems with my arm development and so I notice improvements there the most.

    I started using machines for most of my workouts. No limiting factors when training chest or back and can go all out. My shoulders started growing after doing shoulder related exercise machines.

    Two big changes for my delts
    1) do lateral raises leaning against an incline bench, it isolates the lateral delts away from the traps much more than being completely upright
    2) after my last set of lat raises I immediately crawl the rack- I go to the next db weight down and do lat raises to failure, then the next, then the next, all the way down to 5lbs and take zero rest the whole time
    The pump is unreal

    Finally got dips form figured out, got some stretch marks on my booba. Worked my up to a best set of 36, then tried them weighted, got to 13 reps at +55lb pretty quick. Think I'm gonna give them a break for a bit though, want to avoid shoulder stress and changing routines soon anyway.
