But it means you possess more fast-twitch fibers that can be recruited when in a fight, and means you would be more dangerous than the average skelly if given proper training over the same period of time.

Who says you'll have more fast twitch muscles??? Majority of you losers only lift which doesn't incorporate that many fast twitch muscles lol. But yes more muscle is usually better than less muscle when it comes to fighting

Lifting is pretty much the purest form of fast twitch stimulation.

Why don't you tell me where the power comes from that is used to move the weight?

So lifting is superior to punching bags for training because it's the "purest form of fast twitch stimulation". Lifting does give you strength but to know how to punch properly. There is a reason why the best powerlifters aren't the best punchers. Striking requires you to hit hard and fast, lifting is quite opposite of hard and fast although it does strengthen your muscles and increase potential striking power

Fast twitch. And I never said lifting won't help in striking, lifting isn't the same as striking

What's great is having prior experience being in rough fist fights in high school in which I was able to handle myself long before I could do even 10 full ROM pushups. Ground and pound, headlocks, chair swings, haymakers,I've been through it all and have developed near superhuman reflexes cuz of it.

Yeah, but if i land one good punch, the average dyel goes down or is actually going to be injured. If the average dyel lands ten punches, there's a good chance i don't go down, or sustain any more damage than a black eye.
All else being equal, I'll bet on muscle every time.

Definitely. Anyone with three months of BJJ training could easily take a gorilla. My cousin is an amateur boxer and he knocked out a 400 lb gorilla when it bumped his car then he took his girlfriend. Power means nothing if you don't have technique.
