With every inch it gets harder. Im only 6' and can barely make it to 80 degrees
"Only manlets can do advanced calisthenics" is weak lanklet cope. The taller you are, the bigger your muscles are. Bigger muscle = stronger muscle. Hence why top strongmen are all 6'2+.
Your mechanical "disadvantage" is compensated by a bigger and stronger muscle.
What's the difference between nunchuck and grandfather clock? Is it just knurling? I have a pair of gymnastics rings and I just got a small towel from the thrift store for towel pullups
im at around 70 or so degrees. What jelped me go from maybe 30 to 70 is doing ring flies with the rings maybe 1.5 feet off the ground. The lower the rings the harder the movement
if you have ever worked out on rings you will appreciate what an incredible feat of strength this is. perfect form straight arm pulls to support for reps
do you do this exercise?
c**t can't even spell it
OP ngmi
"Attempt' is a better description
is this possible for someone who is 6'4"?
also, general callisthenic equipment thread?
I have cannonball grips, grandfather clock grips, nunchuck grips (on their way), a climbing rope, and rings
>general callisthenic equipment thread?
Should make a separate thread tbh

Ok here’s one
t.
Looks like someone dropped out of physics class before reaching the torque lessons
Longer leverages and overall higher bodyweight work against you in these movements, that's why every gymnast is a manlet.

Rings are such a gay meme, holy shit. Stupider than kettlebell gays.
they're actually useful for the amount of money they cost
that being said in my homegym with barbells dumbbells and a rack they only get used for weighted inverted rows and pushups and shoulder stretching
most certainly not going to make it
