yesterday listening in the car to the radio
I realized that Bob Dylan ((Shekelstein))
not only stole from Afro-American blues/folk artists,
but also probably stole whole entire catalogues from Irish folk songs.
It just hit me when I started to recognize an accent and affect I know as Irish, and then upon hearing the lyrics of the song that was playing, I instantly knew it had been written by a paddy, and the story told of a paddy.
Anyways, sea shanties are nice. I prefer Irish folk music in that register, they have some good ''gigs''.
nice thread Black person
