>he doesn't use toe spacers
Is this legit?
The argument is that your toes being stuck together is not natural at all, and is purely a product of shoes. Natural human toes are spread out which activates more foot muscles and helps with stability. Any foot experts on IST?

Toe spacers do nothing if you keep using regular shoes. You need shoes with a wider toe box, that alone will help a lot more.
W2c good looking shoes?
look for the correct shape first and foremost.
Second look for a good price, minimalist shoes are cheap because they lack the bells and whistles of modern shoes.
yeah that seems about right, in terms of foot shape that is natural for humans. Notice there isn't this dumb rounded edge but it's more of a block.
Same as with human hands. They don't converge towards the center, it's more squared straight shape.
my guess is that in the old times you didn't have the means to make good shoes due to primitive tools. And these days because it's cheaper to make shitty goy shoes. Then you add moronic shit like cultural norms thinking goyshoes look good and natural human foot shape is "weird". And you got recipe for shoe makers pushing out same old garbage out for a profit with no care for the dumb customer who doesn't know any better.
>minimalist shoes are cheap
I've never seen a pair of cheap barefoot shoes. They are ridiculously expensive.
>I've never seen a pair of cheap barefoot shoes.
All my minimalist shoes cost 20-40$ I get them off amazon. There is like hundreds of off brands there.
>They are ridiculously expensive.
Don't buy those.
Minimalist shoes use less material and less fancy bells and whistles they should be cheaper.
Can you link something for me on Amazon or ebay? Which exact search terms do you use?
I use this amazon brand for walking and I honestly love the look and the feel https://a.co/d/fowKXIz
No I will not shill a brand, I am com, pletely opposed to this idea.
Go search for "minimalist" or "barefoot" shoes.
Set the price to 20-50$
Make sure you avoid watershoes.
Make sure it has a good toe box, flexible sole and no dumb support.
The top material on the shoe determines if it is for more casual use where it looks nicer but breathes less. Or is a super light fabric that lets your feet vent heat and moisture but looks worse.
Share the link pls.
Left is someone who has never worn shoes. Right is someone who has worn shoes for only a few weeks.
I don't use toe spacers.
I Do however use shoes that have human shaped toebox.
>The argument is that your toes being stuck together is not natural at all
It's not modern shoes deform us.
>Any foot experts on IST?
Get good shoes first, it's an absolute moron move to buy toe spacers if alll the shoes you wear are still deforming you constantly.
This is some guy who doesn't wear shoes at all so that he can sell dirty pics of his feet online. Ignoring that, you can see that his feet are much wider.
I've been unintentionally shrinking my feet my entire life, like an old Chinese concubine.
Why do you have these pics?
Any idea how much he makes? Asking for a friend
Why have shoe companies done this?
chinks broke their women's feet because they liked the aesthetics making the women crippled though
They just liked making the women crippled.
So it's easier to abandon them in the mountains.
I wore my vibrams whenever I work out, I have another pair of shoes from vivobarefoot that look like nice regular shoes. I am slowly going to convert all of my shoes to barefoot shoes, pretty much never going to buy a pair of regular shoes again. They even have nice dress shoes that blend in well

At first it was likely not intentional. Eventually, it was kind of too late to stop it as society became so accustomed to it. Now we have plenty of shoes that are designed to be more natural and not frick you up but as alternative brands. Unfortunately people (especially women in this case) are moronic and would rather frick their bodies up to not look like a dork. It's also very profitable to sell upsell them as novelty, and the medical industry of course profits off the effects of the damaged feet. We do not put our health first (unless it's highly profitable) in our society so you wont see the shoe companies going out of their way to make every new shoe with the wide toe box and being zero drop. It's not even in the consciousness of people to innovate everything to be primarily for the better health and well being of each individual, that's not what we optimize or minmax for. It's all so fricked.
It's like how organic food that doesn't frick you up and give you cancer aids is an alternative brand and not the absolute fricking standard for anything that is edible. It should be insanity that we decide on anything else but no, we legitimately allow for horrible outright poisonous shit to be put in our food just so it can maximize profit. You have to be able to AFFORD to not be poisoned, and you have to be knowledgeable that you're being poisoned.
toe spacers dont do shit, you need to actually do toe spacing exercises. cross your fingers and toes together and squeeze with your toes for 30 seconds. repeat on each foot multiple times
You don’t have to wear shoes all the time if you think wearing them will destroy your feet but I find this fad pretty stupid and yes, I tried it just to experience what everyone is talking about and I find it does nothing for me. After 6 month I went back to my regular stuff and nothing changed.
I'm a big fan of walking barefoot or without shoes but I'd rather be a cripple than ever wear socks like that
>https://a.co/d/fowKXIz
thx
I tried it out just because people were raving about it. It cut the blood flow to my toes so I stopped using them. People said it gets better with time but it never did. I walk barefoot pretty much all the time at home anyway.
I didn't wear shoes for the first 10 years of my life because I lived in the country side, I have flat wide feet.
Toe spacers aren't natty.
Savger is a fricking fake natty homosexual.
Squat University is a well known hack and a quack
I switched to minimalist shoes and sandals exclusively about 3 months ago. I wear minimalist whitin shoes in the offseason, xero z treks for walking, xero genesis for running. Literally today I purchased Xero Aqua Clouds for running. I run about 30 miles weekly, always in Xeroes for the past 3 months.
And this shit is amazing. I literally stopped having any running injuries, no shin splints, no runner’s knee, no nothing, and I feel my calves and shit activated.
You don’t need toe spacers, but start looking into barefoots. I was extremely skeptical of this barefoot movement, so much so that I didn’t use the Xero genesis sandals for the first year that I purchased them. I was at the same time scared of ruining my knees and looked down on the barefoot heads. But once transitioned little by little, I can’t go back. The shoe industry is almost a conspiracy.

What about your foot shape? Has it changed back to natural?
>And this shit is amazing. I literally stopped having any running injuries, no shin splints, no runner’s knee, no nothing, and I feel my calves and shit activated.
My same experience but I've been at it a couple years now.
My feet were never really deformed because I always avoided wearing shoes as much as possible and generally wore canvas shoes that were a lot less punishing long before I found out about the barefoot stuff so I was lucky, but still I've definitely improved. Whenever I used to run in regular trainers I would ALWAYS end up with ankle pain or strains and sprains but it's stopped completely now.
For someone who has badly deformed feet I think toe spacers will be a must for recovery, I'm planning on getting some regardless, but you absolutely have to get foot shaped shoes as others have said otherwise there's no point. Take it easy at first though because they do take some getting used to, you'll be using muscles you're not used to using. It's surprising how taxing it can be to walk barefoot for half a mile, even if you're used to walking barefoot around the house. Walk, then run.
Just buy shoes that fit right, damn. Picking out shoe by just the length like, "oh yeah, I'm a 12, I always just get 12" is and always has been moronic.
That's the point, moron. Shoes don't "fit right" when it comes to human feet even if you get the "correct" size.
>Keeping up with squat university these days
All he posts are women pissing themselves, kids and shilling a show business he's trying to get off the ground while bashing those who won't play ball
someone has to have a recommendation for zero drop foot shaped casual shoes that arent hippie frick tier (lems)
i love altra lone peaks and olympus, they have changed my feet, but i need something casual. everything i can find are barefoot shoes - feelgrounds - and do want some sole. please.
Dude there's like four or five zero drop barefoot brands it's not that hard to just type into google and start clicking. I use vivobarefoot personally. Yes they're overpriced but they're durable and make shoes that don't look like total memes.
I wear feyues too, though not "barefoot" they are zero drop and canvas so they are relatively flexible compared to rubber or leather shoes and give way eventually
How much do you get paid to shill on IST?
I'm convinced that people who insist on regular shoes being foot crushers simply have wide feet and have never tried a wide shoe size.
I'm convinced you're an idiot
I have always used the wide foot size shoes, yet my feet still look like the derformed pic. I guess it's time to make a change.
