I use but ive heard it causes cancer so idk anymore
you're thinking of older generation UV filters. show me a study that correlates mineral sunscreen ie. zinc oxide/titanium dioxide to cancer
mineral/physical sunscreens make me look pale like a ghost
the ingredient in sunscreen that actually blocks the sun? yeah that shit causes cancer.
so either have your skin age a little bit or get cancer those are your choices.
i suggest investing in a good moisturizer and drink fricking water.
And wearing protective gear like a hat and Muslim robes
Causes cancer, just stay out of the sun. About 15 minutes is all you need to produce your own vitamin D.
I did start but wearing it is too annoying
Way back in the day when I was researching this stuff, there was a girl on reddit who said she had been using retin A for like 4 years and didn't realize she was supposed to use sunscreen with it, and she looked pretty damn good so I figured it wasn't really worth it. It's also expensive, the good stuff anyway. Lastly I don't spend all day playing in the sun anyway.
Now that Im 26 though I guess I should really be more diligent about it.
I thought about getting a UV meter so I could see just how much UV I really get sitting in my car (with the window up) and sitting in my room and in the office at work, but they're expensive. I get the feeling its a lot of fear mongering. The recommended 1/4 teaspoon amount is for if youre on the beach for 2 hours, not sitting in your room. But people treat it as gospel. I think it should be a LOT less that you need to use.
Anyway thanks for reading.
I am male I don't need to be pretty
Test
post any other picture of that phenomenon and I'll believe it's real
there's more than one truck driver, right?
no
i'm
good to know
So they are probably sitting in direct sunlight for 6 hrs a day for 10 years.
That is too much sun. And they weren't getting sunburnt or else they would notice. This is not the same ray that causes sunburn.
We know getting sun is good for us because it produces Vitamin D, regulates all sorts of anti-depression things, and is antibacterial.
Getting no sunlight and slathering yourself in sunscreen isn't worth it either.
You should get 30 minutes a day. You will be healthier because of it.
My Grandad was a truck driver almost all his life, just retired at 67. His face is aged evenly.
oh look yet another IST sunscreen thread. lets boil it down again
>some morons say to completely slather yourself in sunscreen whenever you go outside no matter the weather
>other morons say that sunscreen causes cancer, impotence, whatever other bullshit they make up while calling sunscreen israelite Black person Hispanic fluid
>other morons cite studies of how increased sunscreen use leads to more skin cancer, ignoring the fact that these people would get cancer because they go into the sun more, not because they use sunscreen
>and the final group of morons who say to never go outside in the first place
there, i saved another 300 post off topic complete garbage thread. god i hate this fricking shithole
Group 4 reporting in
Group 4 chads wy@???
seriously just avoid going outside, and get tints for your windows, and blackout curtains. You'll look beautiful forever. Only go outside at night to pick up women at bars with your beautiful face and bring them back frick them and kick them out before sunrise
you forgot about me
the anon who reminds you that eating a diet high in PUFAs increases the damage you receive from sun exposure
farewell
what about a diet high in FUPAs?
>never leave the house
>never expose myself to sunlight
Hikkichads win again
>implying I go outside
>do an outdoor activity that has me outdoors all weekend long from most of late july thru november
the amount of sunscreen i go thru
>anons on IST now think sunscreen causes cancer because of that one twitter screencap from a grifter
Lmfao
no, they think sunscreen causes cancer because they can't use logical thinking. they see a study that says people who use have skin cancer wore susncreen more often, therefore the sunscreen "caused" the cancer. completely ignoring the fact that it's just a corrrelation not causation, that people who use sunscreen more often are obviously going out into the heavy sun more often, and that's what's causing the cancer, the sun exposure.
japanese sunscreen is best sunscreen btw
