Imagine thinking that gaining muscle mass does not give you strength gains
Sure, you won't be as strong as a powerlifter, but who fricking cares? Unless you want to be strong, go ahead and do boring programs like Madcow

There is nothing to be gained from increased strength in the modern world.
    >muh self defence
The best self defence is intimidating potential assailants, most of which will be scared from big popcorn muscles more than they would from powerlifter muscles.
    >muh health
Powerlifting is unnatural. Prehistoric humans never lifted weights awkwardly and repeatedly. Health comes from any exercise.
    >muh utility
You will never use your strength for something useful.

Aestheticsmaxxing is the only kind of workout that isn't a complete waste of time unless you are a professional athlete.

Weightlifting with a barbell is unnatural, I lift with rocks and furniture.

Humans are animals and respect strength.
Being big and strong immediately intimidates a lot of people which is always in your favor.
Little gay like you wouldn’t get it, though.

How do they "respect strength"? Do they watch your 5 view instagram video lifting gorillion lbs? 99.99% of people would be more intimidated by a bodybuilder than from a powerlifter.
Even in a street fight you will tire yourself out in under minute, provided you didn't get stabbed several times for being clumsy big.

          Because strength = size, always.
I don’t need to fight anyone.

You can get size more easily by max repping and not caring for max weights. Also upper body is much more intimidating for normalgays. People will always be more intimidated from someone with a boxer body than a weightlifter body.

you know what's more scary than being big? being big *and* strong, i.e competitive powerlifter

Again, no one can measure your strength at a glance. The whole point of intimidation is having people reconsider ever engaging you just from your looks.

I could understand if he had shoes that clipped in to pedals, he wasn't used to them, couldn't get them unclipped, then fell over with both feet clipped in. How did he lose his balance when he already had a foot solidly on the ground?

if you are powershitter, you are mentally ill. You will get diabetes, you will get obese, you will go to snap city. Lifting for aesthetics already gets you stronger than 99% of men. And you also look good, feel good, and stay healty because you are not eating everything in sight. Stop being so autistic.

      Think this way:
My arms are attached to my body. I carry my big muscular arms around all the time, but your gun isn't attached to your body, you can't carry your gun all the time, meaning there is a chance I will find you without your gun, but it is impossible for you to find me without my arms.
      Now, cope.
