Does anyone here have gut problems/IBS?
I seemingly developed it out of nowhere. I'm 24, pretty active, lift 4-5 days a week, never drink or smoke.
But suddenly now I have to shit all the time, I go 3-4 times in the morning and feel like I need to go throughout the rest of the day, and eating anything seems to make it worse.
1. Has anyone cured their IBS? The docs say it's incurable, but I don't know about that.
2. Has anyone learned how to reduce symptoms to negligible levels? If a cure isn't possible, I'll aim for this.
Luckily I'm still able to regularly work out, but I've needed to cut out most fruits and vegetables from my diet, also gluten and lactose. The doctor put me on an anti-depressant that somewhat helps reduce the symptoms, but I want to know what else I can do.
