I have been eating 5 cans of pic related every day for the past year. Is mercury poisoning real or a psyop? I have read that the form of mercury in fish has very low bio-availability but I'm not a chem gay. Should I switch exclusively to sardines?
Deens will always be a good option. Especially considering how cheap they are. But i would say don't worry about the mercury unless you start to feel bad. At this point, you've been eating 5/day for a year so i feel like you would have had some ill effects by now if they were going to happen.
>Is mercury poisoning real
Yes. 80% of Americans test positive for mercury toxicity and 90% for lead and we're just supposed to act like this is normal?
Mercury has a biological half-life of 27.4 years in the brain.

Erethism is characterized by behavioral changes such as irritability, low self-confidence, depression, apathy, shyness, timidity, delirium, personality changes, memory loss, decrease in physical strength, headaches, general pain, tremors as well as an irregular heartbeat. People with erethism often have difficulty with social interactions.

The elites don't want you to eat it because it's healthy. Most of my meals are tuna + eggs or steak. Guess what, based on elites this is the worst thing you can eat. Meanwhile they tell us to eat basedmilk with fake GMO meat. Right. I will take my chances.
Most canned tuna that is not a single filet or punch of a filet comes from skipjack tuna. These tend to not get big enough to absorb lots of mercury (the bigger the fish, the more mercury it's had time to absorb). So there's a low risk of getting dangerous levels of mercury from those types of canned tuna.
I eat matjes for the healthy fats and vitamins, for protein i eat white pollock or deenz/tuna, but 90% of my protein comes form plants, sadly most animal foods are poison for us.
Its a psyop.
Your health will decrease once you start becoming overly obsessed with health.
Once your mental health is fricked your body will follow suit.
Psy op, mercury is pissed out with the help of selenium. If you have adequate selenium intake (oh guess what, from red meat!!!) Your body can properly control the amount of meecury in your body and you piss it out basically. Look up selenium and mercury interactions in the human body
Actual GP here with MD (Im a doctor, cope harder brainlets).
Organic mercury content in food is typically measured and regulated pretty well in developed countries. Cheap brands like starkist adhere to 1ppm organic mercury which is 10 times safer than fda recommended ppm. More expensive brands like SafeCatch measure and only sell below 0.1 ppm. So the brand you choose is hugely important.
Half life is around 1.5 months for it to leave your system.
I would recommend switching your fish though if you cant reduce intake. 5 cans a day almost guarentees you will get mercury poisoning symptoms, its just a matter of time.
Talapia is a great alternative. Cheap garbage fish that naturally has almost no mercury and when its farmed its even lower.
>I have read that the form of mercury in fish has very low bio-availability
Holy shit, think about it for a second anon. If it has low bioavailability then what the frick is it doing in a fish?
not him, I've heard that it's bound to selenium and you can't really absorb it at that point. So even fish with moderate or high mercury but high selenium isn't even as bad as fish with moderate mercury but low selenium
salmon is my go to fish idgaf. love the taste of tuna though. scallops shrimp smoked oysters clams sheeeeit i love it all gimme a little bit of everything. lobster pretty fricking fire too

Thats inorganic mercury, which is not the type of mercury found in foods.
Organic mercury, found in foods like tuna, has a half life of 45 - 70 days.
Here is an actual source for your dumb ass.

Goddam is there any fish that is safe to eat? do I have to fish it myself from some remote freshwater lake?
Fish low on the food chain have less. Just don't eat shark and you'll be fine anon.

If you're eating that much tuna you probably do have some sort of mercury poisoning.
Its a psyop.
