Interesting. Only after the first couple of times when I first starting deadlifting did I feel any “soreness” at all and that was months ago. Strengthen your core with some ab work and back extensions and that will help. As for your BBC rape fantasies /misc/ is down the hall and to the left.

Not OP, but my max deadlift is 245 kg and I snapped my back on the second rep of 180 kg on Saturday doing conventional deadlift. That was with good form btw

Based, it’s SO clear if you skip DLs. Skipping gives you the “fake muscular” look that just reeks of gymcel. Literally nothing dries up pussy faster

Post back Black person. No one says you have to max out on deadlifts every singe workout. Treat it like any other lift (good form, progressive overload, dont overreach etc etc

I don't get the hate for deadlifts.
    They've never fricked me up.
Even when I've snapped shit up in my back I can still deadlift just fine.
Squats on the other hand.... Frick squats.

Poor hip flexibility is what does it causing me to round my lower back. I'm working on it, but it's always iffy loading up. I can still deadlift no problem though.

The only time I injured myself deadlifting was 10 years ago when I was a twink teenager and tried lifting 3 plates without warming up.

scientifically speaking form has no relation to the probabilty of a deadlift injury

        Are you fricking moronic?
Scientifically speaking jumping face first off a 20 story building has no relation to injury, give it a shot.

    >I don’t deadlift because muh injuries

I’ve been going to the gym for over 10 years (on and off periods throughout my life, but the last 3 have been very consistent). I’ve been deadlifting for just about as much time. I can deadlift 610 pounds, and I have never once gotten an injury or even close to getting one. I’m convinced you need to be actually moronic to literally injure yourself deadlifting. Like, “sticking your hand in a fire and leaving it there because you are physically too stupid to process you’re in pain” levels of moronic.

Seriously, wtf are you guys doing to injure yourself?
    >hmm, that last lift didn’t feel too good
    >maybe if I just throw on 90 extra pounds that should correct things
    >the bar doesn’t seem to be moving
    >I better just disregard all form and safety and rely on my ego, what can go wrong?
    >wahh now I’m injured, it’s the deadlifts fault!

That is the only scenario where I imagine people getting injured, is when you’re being an absolute smooth brain and not thinking about form or realistic progression and lean into your ego. If you’re a moron, then that’s fine. but that doesn’t mean the deadlift is wrong.

Frick OP and his gay thread, but can anyone help me with my deadlift? Today I did my 1 rm max (150kg without belt , I know I'm DYEL) and I lost consciousness on my descent.
Anyone been through this before? I want to reach 4pl8.

Deadlifts and squats are one of those boomer crab in the bucket things they like to do. I broke my knee/back doing this so you must do it to! It's like how they jerk each other off for getting alcoholic fatty liver or rejecting sunscreen while they have their 5th tumor cut off that year.

how the frick do you break anything doing deadlifts and squats?

Sat in my chair right now with this pain, thankfully I bailed on my top set when I felt some rounding.
