            Mate, I didn't lift for close to a decade. Stopped at 20, returned to it at 30. Took me 3 months to get back to a 2pl8+ bench, 225lbs+ total weighted pullups for reps etc. at a lower BW than when I was 20. Only thing I fully regained or surpassed in strength is deadlifts, because I hardly ever do it. You keep your natural gains for life.

              It's called muscle memory. Skeletal muscle has multi-neuron cells and is incredibly plastic. Once it's "learned" how to grow, it has a much easier job "remembering" how to get back to that state.

      That twist is really gay though and doesn't do much. You're better off just doing norm db curls and then doing reverse grip curls. That way you get optimal stretch for both muscle groups and you're not wasting time at positions with 0 tension.
