this is not even cardio much less strength or hypertrophy training. you will never grow with this and if you only do pullups and dips you will have an unbalanced physique. i know because i did this for almost a year. then i got a gym membership and fixed my imbalances but the legs are still slightly lagging and even then i used to do 10-15 rep pistol squat sets. also your lower back will be weak without a heavy backsquat

neither pullups nor dips give any shoulder gains. i could do 15 pullups and 15 ring dips and when i tried my shoulder pressing it was in novice territory while both pullups and dips were upper intermediate

You have to remember that it's a poverty homegym and I'm just interested in exercise, not bodybuilding. If I reach the point where I'm doing loaded shrimp squats then that's as strong as my legs are ever going to get.

What makes the exercises moronic and wastes of time? I mean, if you can do the hardest progressions of bodyweight exercises just because you have gym access, then I'll throw away my shit and trespass into the local gym. But I'm going to call your bluff and doubt your ability to do any of that shit. Post a webm of you doing one of the final progressions for reps and I'll believe you

i'm an intermediate lifter. you don't need to see me do shit. im not asking you to do your sissy squats either. im just telling you there's better ways to achieve strength and hypertrophy with less headache. if normies stay dyel from going to the gym then most of you that stay with calisthenics will surely not make it

                Anonymous

Whoops, bluff failed. You couldn't even wash a window without your arms tiring out, we get it. And you didn't even answer why the exercises where "moronic" and "wastes of time"

The only reason you hate on calisthenics is because you admitted you were a brainlet. It "causes headache" for you to do a completely natural bodyweight movement, and you willingly kept at the most basic squat progression for, in your words, "almost a year."
You even INJURED yourself doing this shit????

it's not really OHP. and even then you can only progress by adding reps. i actually injured my shoulder doing pykes and headstand pushups. OHP feels much more natural and safe

                Holy shit you numbfrick.

my OHP is 80kg. i can do 2 pullups with 52.5kg. and a dip with 80kg. i already explained to you. you will never make it doing this moronic shit. legs are completely not worth it to train bodyweight. you will forever be a weak dyel. even the top calisthenics channels advise you people to use barbells for lower body at least

                Anonymous

you're doing partial reps on handstand pushups. but if you weigh 170lb you'll have do more than just have the strength to push yourself because the balance component makes it much harder. i know you all like to cope here but it's a fact most of you will never achieve an unassisted handstand pushup. especially if you weigh over 60kg. forget about it

                Anonymous

paralletes for full rom, gripping something makes it significantly easier. While I agree that its stupid to base your entire system on bodyweight its silly to deny that they work. I’ve even heard body building coaches say that up to 30 reps is still an effective rep range

                Anonymous

yes that works and gripping does feel better than flat hand. anyway 99% of you will never be strong enough to utilize paralletes if you want to weigh more than the average woman

                >bodyweight doesnt work because its too hard
                >bodyweight doesnt work because its too easy
                Pick one

it's easier on the shoulder and harder on whatever other stabilizing muscles there are. it's not that hard to get.

You're not getting my shekels dyel.

so you can't either? guess what you never will anyway. i've trained among calisthenics gays for a whole year. the farthest i've seen you gays go on legs is a few pistol squats. it's pathetic. you can point to the world class athletes and their sissy homosexual squat PRs but you will never reach them. the time you put in will be wasted and you'll still be a weak and stupid dyel. everyone with half a brain and respect for their time either has a gym or goes to one

For legs he can do lunges and bulgarian split squats for legs. To add weight all he needs are 5 gallon water jugs or some diy sandbags. For shoulders, RTO dips and holds both hit them, but he can also just do HSPU progressions. Lateral raises are easy enough to incorporate as well because the weight is so low that he can use a book or a milk jug or something and still make it work.
