Frick paying for gym memberships, I’m throwing so much money away when I can bulk from home. What affordable equipment do you use for your home gym /fit?
You need a >Medicine ball >Battle ropes
And if you're feeling fancy >Tractor tire and a big mallet
This is all you need. Anything else you might need is your moody weight.
Dude, you're a homosexual, and a simp. I've been a member at Golds, LA Fitness, UFC, and a few others with over priced plans & contracts. You're not better for wasting more money. At most you're expensive ass gyms only have more amenities like a pool or fricking saunas. Go eat a bag of dicks.
>names shit-tier tryhard gyms full of dirty poor people and fatties >names LA-fitness which tries its hardest to be like Equinox but in reality is another poorgay gym like 24
have fun trying to cancel your golds membership btw
ill be happily wiping this chilled eucalyptus towel across my face in my clean filtered air watching you through these beautiful full sized windows overlooking the struggling wagecucks below
Strange that you're calling others wage cucks when you still need to use a public gym, like the poor gay you are. Just because you spend more on a public gym doesn't mean you're any less pleb, just means you're not as financially literate as the other poorgays who live within their means. If you truly made it, you'd have all those amenities available to you at home, and wouldn't need pay 10% of your check to breathe filtered air and use a chilled towel.

Just look at the beautiful plebeian tears

Holy shit you're a massive homosexual. Have fun in your over priced gay haven tiny American psycho.
Oh is this a new thing? Equinox is nice, but theres none close to me and it's a bit pricey for my blood. I got a large golds gym just down the street though. Maybe I'll start equinox posting too
That's not a gym, that's Planet Fitness. They're closer to a real estate/ rental company. Their business model is predicated on recruiting subscribers who never use the place. Puts less wear on their equipment and facilities. If a planet fitness ever gets too many people showing up, it is in their interests to close up. That's partially why it's so cheap. People insecure about their fatness purchase a membership, pay their $10/m, and to them thats just free money. They wont go. They wont cancel because they believe they *should* have a gym and its *only* $10/m. Its a functional and sustainable business model. Everyone knows fatties dont go to the gym because they lack will and discipline, but if you tell those fatties it's not them but rather the 'patriarchal judgmental gyms' that's stopping them, they will pay you for that excuse.
Pull up bar, free weights, and a bench. Literally all you need for total body. But I still have a gym membership, gyms are about more than just getting fit. You think I'm going to depend on this place for socializing? On top of that there are the other amenities. My planet fitness has two different kinds of massage beds, tanning booths, etc. Plus gyms are meat markets dude. You can almost always get laid if you're moderately fit, so-so face, and the teensiest bit of charm. Its so easy, especially if you're a chubby chaser. Frick do I love chubby girls at planet fitness.
Home gyms are only worth it if all of the quality gyms in your area cost $50 a month or more. Also you can worry less about the equipment since its not yours. I wouldn't want to run at a fast pace on my own treadmill or drop cleans and jerks from overhead at my own house.
>Home gyms are only worth it if all of the quality gyms in your area cost $50 a month or more.
Every gym in my city is $75 or more, only LA fitness is $45
>rings, dip and pull up bar with enough room for actual calisthenics.
good for everything but legs but who cares. Won't be viable for a fatty it's more for skinny people looking to become sexually attractive. >the standard home gym setup that has been posted 1000 times
You can do everything + isolations with a barbell, cage and welded bench. Only moron boomers come up with that excuse that they "can't workout" without $2000 of dumbbells for their 13 inch arms.
>Frick paying for gym memberships >What affordable equipment do you use
So you can't afford a home gym you stupid homosexual. The entire point of fricking public gym is that you pay for access to everything. With home gym you would have to pay moronic amount of money upfront or buy shit piece by piece and be forced to exercise using the bare minimum which is fricking pointless. Falling for home gym meme is like falling for SS meme. It has it's purpose but all of you dumb fricks expect fricking miracles.
for $150 or less: pull-up bar, rings, and a bag/pack with home-made weight like sand or waterbottles. and some research into the relevant exercises.
You gotta get wacky to hit your legs hard like doing squats on one leg or just spend the money on a barbell. Anyone who claims this is bad advice is trying to israelite you, weight is weight.
>What affordable equipment do you use for your home gym /fit?
A rack (squat/bench/OHP/chin-ups/etc.)
A bench
A barbell
Plates for barbell
Adjustable dumbbells
$1000 and you never have to deal with commute, waiting for machines, coon toons, gym memberships, etc. ever again
Pays for itself within 2 years
I go to the gym 1 hour a day for 6 days a week. I'd say I'm getting my $40/mo worth. I am never waiting for any machines except for the few that do calves sometimes they're all taken right when I need them on leg day but whatever. And it's the only time I leave my house other than to get food so my chance at meeting a girl is at least greater than zero.
>it's the only time I leave my house other than to get food so my chance at meeting a girl is at least greater than zero.
forget whether you are getting your money's worth, are you getting your life's worth?
>are you getting your life's worth?
not sure how to answer that
I'm an introvert and have no reason to leave the house. The gym gives me a reason. In the process of getting in shape maybe I will go do other things. I was thinking of finding volunteer shit to do on my days off, but nothing that involves helping black people.
I'm too autistic to go to a public gym. I have always had a home gym. The social skills needed to figure out if someone is using a bench or if it's ok to hop on are beyond my abilites, and it's making me nervous just thinking about it. Plus you are expected to wear pants and I just don't think I could be at my best with clothes on.
>mfw my gym is so bad that I have to squat in the dips station
and i have to hear the zumba classes upstairs
i only go there because i dont even have to make changes in my commute
You need a

i'd hate gyms if i had to workout around poor people, too

You think "making it" is spending your entire life at home?
Your end goal in life is just to have money to buy toys to play with at home all day?
God im so glad im not a socially dysfunctional incel.
Holy shit you're a massive homosexual. Have fun in your over priced gay haven tiny American psycho.
whoah calm down and do some yoga bro
>manhattan
WoOOoOOoOOOoOw that city looks so HECKIN WALKABLE

I've had to cancel twice for relocation purposes. It was fine, it's just a phone call.

Home gym means I'm no longer paying for shit like this that I never used.

Still not sure if this is b8 or not but I’ll throw my opinion in anyway.
Just renewed my gym contract. 2 years @ $20 a month. A pair of PowerBloks are $300+ and I have to sacrifice a room in my house.
Talk to me again in 2 years and I’ll mention the next piece of equipment I would buy if I was building a home gym.
what gym?
my gym is 60 per month am I getting israeliteed up?
Yes

HWD (How will degenerate) prostitutes watch me if I’m working out at H.WD (home. Why do) workouts at home when you can mog people in public?
Lmfao, these HWD posters are getting out of hand
bench. barbells. squat rack. ??? profit

backpack loaded leg exercises tire out your lower back a lot more than actual barbells/dumbbells
and using a backpack for upper body movements like arms and shoulders is too unstable
bag and a belt then but this hasn't been my experience
