HOW BAD IS SMOKING 1 TO 2 CIGARETTES A DAY

Any medical or anecdotal opinions appreciated

If I on average smoke max 2 cig a day how fricked will I get long term??

Hard to trust the anti smoking soys who use statements such as “someone who smokes 1 cig will inhale harder and do as much as a pack a day crowd”

Btw I’m not vaccinated

You're still causing lung damage. You're still gonna suffer the effects of nicotine addiction.
And then soon it won't be 1-2, but 4-5, 6-7. 9-10. and so on.

But let’s say theoretically I kept it at 2 a day ad infinitum, does the damage scale linearly so a pack a day is more than 10 x worse??

If you are smoking one or two then you are in withdraw the rest of the day and cigs will be all you think about.

OFC if you are dumb and smoke big tobacco cigs you are doing it wrong.

If you roll yourself pipe tobacco there is zero addiction to it. I can quit them whenever I want and I only smoke one per day. Much harder to quit fast food then tobacco or alcohol.

One or two a day does fricking nothing
But good luck staying at that. Those sweet death sticks will be calling your name all day long and eventually you'll be smoking 12 a day. Been there, done that. Quit smoking 10 years ago and never starting back.

Damage doesn't scale linearly, there is a threshold of low damage where your body can handle the smoke, then it gets exponentially worse. It's like drinking, 7 beers in one day vs 7 beers in a week aren't the same.

You might develop a slight cough and some mucus buildup in the lungs. I smoke 4 a day and it doesn’t have a huge effect on my cardio or health. With sip of cough syrup once and a while it’s practically nothing. I smoked when I had covid and I know a guy who was a QB for my highschool and he died from covid and he was pretty fit and didn’t smoke. Meanwhile I’m smoking cigarettes, weed, taking perc 10s, xanax 2mg and I’m still here. So maybe jesus loves me or I’m just lucky idk.

Have you considered that there is some deep underlying reason that you don't want to quit smoking entirely?
A cigarette is formed like a penis, a mans penis. And you just can't stop sucking kn them. Only two penises a day in my mouth, i promise.
I just enjoy sucking on a penis while I drink tea (semen) in the garden (gay).
You're obviously a raging homosexal in denial.

I supplemented my lunch with a cigarette and coffee. A cigarette and a cup of coffee is all you need. If you can’t get your addiction or habits under control, than the problem lies with you. Simple as that.

yes but my question is how bad is 1 to 2 cigarretes compared to a pack - all the goy studies seem flimsy and done 2 decades ago I can't trust them.

Don’t bother yourself with shit like that. If you enjoy a cigarette here and there than enjoy it. Why should you live so softly? Let’s say you don’t smoke at all ever again. You’re still dying 65-78 years old

2 decades ago they had a pretty good handle on smoking damage, and nicotine addiction. You can trust them. We're not talking "you'll die if you get in a train that goes faster than 45mph" stuff from 1840 here. You want an anecdotal opinion? I started where you are, a pack lasted a week or more at first. It becomes more. Period. 25+ years and at least $40k later I finally quit, after trying more than a few times. You are not smarter than humans that came before you, nor are you any "tougher" or better at handling addiction. But if you want to smoke then smoke, just don't lie to yourself about it.

          Not everyone is a pussy.
I know of the people you mention, people who do no fap and then quit or relapse after less than a month, people who say they would not get the vaccine but then get it etc.

People on IST are stone cold badasses. I am not vaccinated and almost lost my job as a result of this but I did not bacj down.

My best streak of no fap is 2 year and a half. I am not a pussy unlike the humans that came before me. I quitted smoking cold turkey for YEARS with zero problems, then I came back and quitted just as easily.

Same man. People have no willpower at all. Ive quit from half a pack to nothing easy. I’ve quit many long term heavy addictions. When my mom tells me how bad she wants to stop smoking I have to bite my tongue to not say something.

Long term, you're gonna age worse. That said, not as bad as a pack a day smoker. If you have good aging genetics you will look fine. If you have bad aging genetics, you will age like shit. Wrinkles, neurological decline, etc. If you have a family history of that shit, consider cutting the cigs.
Flip side, if smoking helps curb your hunger, as nicotine seems to do to many people, smoking will keep you lean. The benefits of not being fat outweigh (ironically) the detriments brought on by smoking.
Your lung capacity will suffer, but cardio is for women and queers.
Something something cancer. Depends if you have family you can look at to judge. If anyone else smoked, and they got throat/lung/mouth cancer early in life, you should quit. If not, you're experimenting on yourself, sorta. Don't be a pussy.
In for a penny in for a pound homie. Assume it'll all happen to you. Do you care? Base your decision on that. And if you do wanna quit, remember spitters are quitters. And if you quit, I assume you gargle cum before you spit it back out.

Listen here, Lil homie. It will frick you up eventually even if you're smoking organic chemical free ones. I got mild COPD from it. You can reverse the effects but why bother poisoning yourself for no gains?

Only 1 or 2 a day is probably not gonna have any significant effect on your long term health but if it’s only 1-2 a day then why wouldn’t you just quit anyway?

Nicotine is good its the method of transfer that causes issues. Smoking 1 joint a day is harsher than smoking 10 cigarettes a day. Vaping is less harmful than smoking but the "vapor' doesn't exactly hit as satisfying as the smoke. Nicotine gum provides more nicotine than a cigarette while fulfilling the mouth fetish and also giving you the same focus and energy without actually harming you at all. 1-2 cigarettes a day aren't going to hurt you. Most people who smoke go a pack a day their whole lives and die before they even get lung cancer. You are going to die anyways OP if you enjoy smoking or drinking or whatever the frick else that can make you feel good or kill you might as well.

      >Vaping is less harmful than smoking but the "vapor' doesn't exactly hit as satisfying as the smoke.
Have you actually tried both smoking and vaping? I've been playing around with nicotine a little for the past few months. A good smoke, especially self-rolled with good tobacco, can hit hard, but usually only the first 1-2 of the day. With a vape (and I'm talking about a cheap disposable one, not a personalized one I built for own needs) I can get a much harder high, multiple times a day.

Look up studies on "intermittent smoking". The general consensus is that the damage is NOT linear. I.e. the damage already starts when you're regularly smoking any amount, and then just marginal increases as you increase the amount you smoke.
Yes, you're doing less damage than a chain smoker smoking a pack a day, but you're still at an order of magnitude greater risk than someone who doesn't smoke at all.
    Don't remember the exact numbers.

Buy a vape, moron. Literally everyone started with 1 or 2 a day. Then it's 5. Then it's around 10. If you really degenerate it's a pack, if not then it will be a pack when you drink, and 5-10 every other day of the week. This is the natural progression of everyone that picks up smoking.

Buy a vape and learn to use it. There is a learning curve in keeping the costs down and the experience enjoyable. Like knowing how to get the most out of your coils and how to avoid vape tongue and what flavors / brands to buy (if the juice isn't clear it's shit and going to wreck your coils fast.)

There now you have all the benefits of nicotine and it's cheaper and more convenient in the long run without the negative effects. I still buy a pack every 6 months or so and after about 5-10 over the course of a few days I realize why I stopped in the first place and am just ready to finish the pack.

dumbest shit I have ever heard.

My baddest I smoke 10 cigs a day. Until my carton ran out.
Guess what I did after that?
I was so digusted I did not touch a smoke for 5 years. Then I started rolling my own and basically buy one to two pouch (50 g or 100 g) and smoke them during the year which is the equivalent of what 100 to 200 cigs?. I do not remember the last time I went over one cigarette per day, you are supremely dumb if you go above this because they literally no longer taste good. One cigarette per week is supreme good and very tasty, one per day is the limit to still being good.

The best would be one or two cigarettes per week.

But a pack a day? How dumb and stupid are you? It literally no longer taste good so it is pointless to smoke them.

Smoking is great OP, if you like it, keep doing it. Not everything snowballs, anyone who has any degree of self awareness can prevent a snowball. Also, my marginal enjoyment of cigs decreases the more I smoke, so I've never exceeded 5 a day for the past 4 years. People have smoked for 1000s of years, ultimately its quality of life not quantity. A small habit like that doesn't affect your lung capacity really, I've got great cardio and have around 48-52 resting BPM , no issues.

There's a genetic factor as well, some people just don't tolerate it as well as others.

    inb4 incoming 'copes'
