How bad is smoking during a fast?

Nicotine is an appetite suppressant (I know it’s bad for you I wasn’t born last night). Does IST smoke cigs during a fast?

I'm not Chad though. I've read the copypasta and know Chad never had to try ever, I'm not Chad and never will be Chad so I gotta work. So far nicotine and black coffee have been godsends since going on a 1600 calorie per day diet.

They don't break a fast but you're a massive homosexual if you smoke. You smell horrible and going more than a few hours without muh smoke break makes you act like you're fiending for smack

I smoke a cigarillo, maybe once or twice a week. They are really nice when fasting.

This guy is a homosexual moron who think you have to be addicted to enjoy a smoke

I smoke them whether I'm fasting or not. Nicotine is a pretty poor appetite suppressant, though. I smoke American Spirit Blacks, which have like twice the nicotine of Marlboro Reds. Doesn't do shit to my appetite.

I tried it once and felt like I was having a heart attack. I was 4 days into a fast and don't smoke so my reaction is probably out of the norm if you do shorter fasts and don't smoke. If you want appetite suppressants just take caffeine pills, you only need a very small dose when you're not eating anything.

I smoke all of the time.

    >Anxiolytic yet stimulating
    >Good for social purposes
    >Gives you an excuse to go out and just take in the moment

If you’re looking to lose weight and suppress appetite though, vaping is way, way more effective.

Anyone tried nicotine pills? The ones that are meant for people trying to quit smoke?
I bought 4mg ones and chew half at the time, about 1-2 per day.
I get mixed results. Sometimes I literally feel like shit after chewing one, other days it actually helps keep my mind off food and I feel more focused

I'm 30 and have stopped smoking for a year now, after more than a decade, guess what ? I can't focus anymore, ADHD off the roof, my brain is slower and foggy.

A year without smoking and I still can't go back to "normal"

Nicotine is real stuff people, the focus aspect of it is incredible, you're sharper, quicker, and it feels good. If you never smoked, don't, because it's hard to go back to normal.

I don't know why it doesn't work that way with nicotine gums, cigarettes are the good shit.

Obviously smoking is hard to quit but i'll still tell you to do so if you want to aid your body in healing yourself, don't kid yourself with the appetite suppressant argument.
Fasting is hard work, do you want to do hard work but cheat yourself out of the full benefits?
Lastly any step towards better health is infinitely supperior to no steps, do what you can and forgive yourself where you fail.
