Legumes make farts and bitch tits
Lentils way less than beans. They have more fibers and proteins They are the superior legume
They also cook faster
>skim "milk"
Never ever going to make it, ever
Fry diced carrots, onions, celery, garlic. Add the lentils and tomato and water, done. Salt, Hispanices. Also you can just make a soup with whatever other vegetable you like and use the lentils as base, it will be tasty and healthy.
Keep in mind lentils doesn't have amino acids to make a whole protein compared to meat, the good news is that it actually complement well with other ingredients to complete the protein, beans actually have all the aminos lentils lack, so you should be eating both for maximum gains, rice and oats too, so if you eat that often you don't need to worry about that
Just assume 1 g of vegetable protein counts for about .75 g of animal protein
>lentils
>potatoes
>chicken
>random Hispanices
>passing out under a bench press
Takes me back to my college cutting days
It's
>lentils
>green peas
>chicken
for me. Pretty similar, but peas have more protein and vitamin C than potatoes.
lentils are absolutely GOAT
i eat like 400g/day (always buy a 5kg packs dried green lentils pack like every other week)
I basically eat nothing else other than Oats, Lentils, Veggies and fruits
all my gains from are lentil gains
26kg lean mass in 3y
went form underweight to happy with my body just with lentils
lentils are the best thing in the world
How do you cook the dry stuff? Do you have to soak them in water for 24h beforehand or what? You just boil them in salty water?
Need more info because I fucking love lentils but all I've been eating was the canned stuff and I don't know how much I trust that shit.
Soak overnight
Discard water
Boil in fresh water until tender (30 - 60 minutes depending on variety)
Add a good pinch of salt
Based
1 lb lentils
1 lb beef
1 lb mixed veggies

You do not necessarily need to water them overnight, you can add water and in 20 minutes they are ready anyway. But I like to cook them more until the stuff becomes more creamy
You should if you want to get rid of antinutrients

Try meat
You must have wicked IBS.

based but not very well known in the west, because they are tasteless, here in the west people are fucking addicted to meat, they forget there are hundreds of different sources of protein that they could also eat, you don't have to spend your entire life eating the same 4 or 5 animals

beef and lentil soup > *
cheap and easy
Tasty, but lentils always end looking like diarrhea
Put the food in your mouth and then you don't see it anymore.
That's only like half a cup. Not much for 20g of fiber. You're going to be farding and shidding all the time.
I love lentils. I just throw them in my instantpot with a whole bunch of vegetables and bones leftover from when I cook chicken thighs. God tier soup for a few days
An anon on IST posted this awhile ago, figured I’d share it. I’ve made it a couple times and it’s really good. I use diced ham and olive oil instead of bacon and butter
I used to eat a lot of lentils back in my broke student days, but your a fucking retard if you think 100 calories worth of lentils has 20 grams of protein.
shitting isn't a good thing. That literally means that you're just wasting money on food that your body is literally rejecting and deeming to be waste
I'm on day 50 of /noshit/
For me it's when they are boiled and mixed with carrots, lettuce, peppers, parsley and lemon juice to make a low cal, filling salad
