Be born with genetics that allow you to be in the top 10% of males in terms of frame and height, and also be wealthy enough to have a healthy diet since the day you're born.
Also don't have overprotective parents willing to shut down every single chance you get to learn how to properly socialize because you're supposed to be a good little christian child and Christians dont do this and that and you should go to church 7 days a week

You're half right. A lot of people who think they eat "better than Americans" eat non-nutritious shit like rice for most of their meals. I can assure you the guys in that pic ate neither fast food or empty calories regularly while growing up.

Typically the athletes have a different cafeteria than the rest of the college. They get to eat whatever the frick they want all day long and it’s included in their scholarship. They also have fitness coaches and cards to state of the art lifting equipment. So yeah, that.

if you're talking about being popular within the school, the sports teams get easy access to parties, and it makes you attractive. it's fun for a while but that degenerate shit ruins your soul.

There was a study in 2017 that showed that 100 of 117 dead NFL players had CTE, so if that's anything to go by playing pro football is pretty much a guarantee that you will develop permanent brain damage.
