How do I acquire motivation?
I haven't gone to the gym in months, same goes to BJJ classes. I don't have hobbies. Just sit in front of a computer without wanting to do anything.

You are digging your grave deeper and deeper every day.
The more you keep going like this, the more you will feel inclined towards remaining in this pathetic state.
As soon as you quit bullshitting and do something good, you will feel like not stopping anymore.
If you need some extra motivation to start, look up some motivational videos on youtube - i do that often for various subjects, they help me keep in the right mindset since i dont have anyone to share these feelings with.
    Here's one for you:

What I like to do is accelerate everything downwards.

As soon as I start to lose my way, I'll start jacking off 10 times a day, missing college classes, not going to the gym, ordering fast food. Spending the entire day watching anime and tiktok. Sleeping late. Not doing my religious duties.

I find that when I'm at rock fricking bottom I always come back up immediately because I'm not comfortably numb in my situation.

When it's sort of passable like OP you can stay in it for a long long time. When it's so bad you feel genuinely disgusted by yourself, that's where the real change happens

The philosopher Pascal said "All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone," so maybe you're on to something, just the way you are.

Chin up bro. Keep looking, and make it a point to talk to every and any big tiddy girl you see.
Or just give up and settle for a chestlet braphog. Your choice.

Motivation is for women. Discipline is for men. Just do.
    >It's not that easy
If it was, everyone would do it. Be like everyone else, or don't.

This. Motivation might get you started, but discipline keeps you going.

I usually hate 'life hacks' and 'self improvement tips', but surprisingly our brains are very susceptible to one thing which works as such:
Whenever you don't feel like doing something or have trouble deciding or being motivated, say you'll do it for heads and not for tails. Flip a coin.
If you feel bad about the coin's decision, then it will be easy not to follow it.

Have been doing it and it helps make decisions. Although I wish I had a lucky coin.

I live in a shithole. There are no BJJ classes nearby. I am so desperate to go one. You are lucky.
Think about the guys who don't access to it, the guys who can't afford it, the guys with handicaps, all the people desperate to get an opportunity you keep slandering.
God gave you functioning limbs and a healthy body and you just waste it?

      >There are no BJJ classes nearby.
Are there any martial art schools nearby? Anything's better than nothing, and there is a huge skill transfer especially between grappling arts after that short acclimatization period.

I think you eventually just reach a point where the hatred for yourself and your choices accumulates too much. When that happens you do it all on your own.

Why are Murricans so fond of Jiu-Jistu? Or is it this shithole? Asking for a friend.
I find it very funny in the webms that are posted here from time to time.
I know it’s called a “soft martial art” due to the minimal use of punches, but seriously I don’t see its appeal, or at least not in the way this board tries to give it.

I did it for a year and learned all I need to in order to explain where the affinity comes from. Everyone kinda knows how to punch and most adult men can deliver enough power with one punch to end most fights. However landing that punch on someone who is actively resisting is very hard. Now when it comes to grappling not only is the average guy totally out of his depth, he presents the same threat a child would. We would have grown men come in for a trial class and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s like taking down and submitting a child. It’s just a glaring weakness in the self defense strategy of most people. Also as for why it’s mostly Americans that are so fond of it is due to wrestling being a universal sport in high school and the classes hold a similar structure and allow you to carry over your high school skill set.

The americanized version of it is easy to get in to and has some practical use in fights unlike the useless ones (tai chi, taekwondo, etc). Wrestling of all kinds is superior but good luck doing that at a high level as an old or injured person.

UFC and various podcast hosts made BJJ cool.
I like it because it's good cardio and mobility work. Also wrestling around is just generally fun.
It's not as interesting to me as other martial arts but it's worth doing.

I think about how I'm falling behind while others that are doing the right things in life are surpassing me and will make more money, have better social lives, and will attract more attractive women than me. If competition with other men isn't enough to make you improve then you should just have a nice day

Honestly this is a good mindset to have.
Assuming all girls to be bawds will just demotivate you from approaching girls. Yes, even if you don't "care" if she isn't a virgin.
Just go in assuming the best of her.
