How do I clear my lungs and sinuses out after a decade of cig and weed abuse?
If I can get back to 80 percent functionality I'll be a happy camper..

This. Best you can do is just stop fucking with them. Get out for a walk/jog/run/whatever you are capable of for a bit
breath in fresh mountain air
bleach and ammonia should do the trick.
Thanks for nothing moron, I just made ketchup.
The will heal over the course of time if you just stop putting stuff into them that they weren't made for. Including vaping. Just pure air. It takes about 5 years to bounce back to 100%.
My ancestors have been smoking Tobacco for hundreds of years
It doesn't kill you fast enough to stop you from reproducing.
smoking pure tobbacco and smoking cigarettes is different. just google the ingredients of cigarettes.
Just time, organs will clear themselves, you'll cough up lots of grey-bronish mucus and eventually you'll feel fine, lungs can regenerate a lot of damage, cancer risk is something that you'll carry with you though. If the sinuses don't clear up even after a long abstinence, you might have developed polyps, go see a doctor if that's the case
Can't I consume stuff to offset the cancer risk?
It lowers with time as well, but it takes roughly 20 years to get back to normal cancer risk. That said, even after a few years the risk will have decreased significantly. Source was my biology course, presume it's reliable.
Pretty sure you never get back to "normal" cancer risk since lung cancers are very rare in non smokers. But you from like 1000x risk to 10x risk or something.
relative risk for smokers to get lung cancer is about 30%, but most people that develop a bronchial carcinoma are heavy smokers, quitting helps with reducing risk by limiting the damage, but the critical hits your cells have taken don't really disappear, stopping just removes a major risks for additional damages. The more packyears you amass the higher your risk for developing lung cancer, so the sooner you stop the better.
There must be something to offset it..
Medicinal mushrooms?? Medicinal yea?
I refuse to belive there's nothing I can do to help offset it..
Also, if I get cancer at like 70-80 who care it will be curable in pill form by then..
If I didn't work out lung cancer wouldn't be such a big deal cuz I wouldn't care about losing my gains through chemo..
Should I start getting myself checked regularly?
Really isn't except maybe fasting. But over time it will probably go down and it's not really worth worrying about because literally everything will give you cancer anyway. Burned food? That's a cancer. Too much sunshine? Cancer. Too hot food or drink? Cancer. Too much fermented food? Cancer. Smoking? Cancer. Exposure to various common household chemicals? Cancer. Plastic? Cancer. Alcohol? Cancer. Metal? Cancer. Not enough sex? Cancer. Too much sex? Cancer. Buttsex? Cancer. Too big of poops? Cancer. Diarrhea? Cancer. Sugar? Cancer. Existing in the modern world? Cancer.
Literally everything.
Healthy active lifestyle and proper nutrition, cancer is the result of cell damage + deficient immunesystem, can't do much about the cell damage other than avoid further carcinogens, so just keep active and eat right to optimize your immunesystem, building muscles helps too. If you weren't a heavy smoker your risk isn't likely as high, look up lung cancer risk by pack years and calculate your own pack years if you're concerned. If you smoked a pack a day for ten years, that puts you in a far worse category than non-smokers, but the usual cases that develop lung cancer early due to smoking have a lot more than ten pack years on their belt. No need to worry about screening tests for now, you can think about that shit once you're approaching 50. For now you've done the best thing to stave off lung cancer which is quitting smoking, just stick to that.
most smokers who get lung cancer get it at 60+. just focus on living healthy and eating a lot of antioxidant fruits. pomegranates, blueberries etc. drink a lot of green tea. do zone 2 cardio at least 30 mins a day and keep your lungs functioning optimally. buy a few air purifiers for your house, especially one for your bedroom.
btw there's always a toll to be paid for your bad habits, you can't just wipe that slate clean.
I seem to recall from the data in the course the risk went down to levels equal or very close to non-smoker level over 20 years. Never forgot because it kind of perplexed me, I'd never have thought it.
Anyway, bottom line would be that the risk decreases significantly over time.
Start with light cardio. Your body likes to focus on improving the parts of your body you use. Work your way up. Some amount of weightlifting and other exercises that cause muscle tearing can help reduce the risk of cancer. Try doing a salt water solution nasal flush.
research lung washing
I can't handle tunes being shoved down my throat.
I'm on permabulk, out of the question..
Then you'll die early anyway. Why worry about lung cancer if you're going to sacrifice your heart to the gods of powershitting?
Not a power sitter, just a super fast materialism and I don't retain much fat
>super fast materialism
You buy a lot of ikea or what are you trying to say
*metabolism, which does result in super fast materialism
Prolonged fasts
Just stop smoking. Your lungs naturally regenerate, just takes a long time, but the sooner you quit the sooner they get back to normal
There's images like (pic) everywhere with different variations that give you the QRD
.
I was only doing 1-2 cigs a day, I think my timeliness is gonna be a lot lower
Should I smoke cbd after a few month when my lung clear?
No, dumbass. Jesus. I can't believe you even asked that.
It's been almost 10 years since i smoked regularly. If i pick up a cig (I won't) I'll cough a lot and the smoke will taste like farts and I'll nearly vomit from the nicotine. So basically virgin lungs. I've smoked some delta 8-9 a handful of times. I cough every time. You could just do the gummies or syrup or whatev though.
I smoked a pack a day for 8-9 years, quit back in 2018
pretty happy with what I'm seeing and experiencing
If your under 25, it just takes time.
Over 25 and your pretty much fucked.
HGH might help the tissues regrow but they don't really understand why lung tissues recovers the way it does in young people
Kys and hope reincarnation is real
it takes your body 7 years to replace all cells, so if you never smoke again you might recover
Bout a decade of clean living and they'll be good as new. You can also do exercises for lung expansion. Do some hiking maybe run a lil' bit if that's your thing.
black lungs are fake and gay all those photos are shopped
If only there was a form of exercise that improved your cardiovascular system.
I quit smoking after not even a year, it's a completely pointless waste of time and money and after not even a few days you'll never want to smoke another one
Have you tried taking 1000mg of NAC daily for a few weeks? I’m not a doctor so this isn’t medical advice but personally have had good effects with it.
NAC is good for a lot of other things too so it’s nice to take for general quality of life and health but my lungs feel good after taking it.
