moron, where you think the glucose for those anaerobic exercises come from if not carbs? liver chomps on your muscles for gluconeogenesis

So would eating a lot of rice and protein be beneficial to cutting weight and gaining mass?

Fat will be burned before muscle tissues if you make sure to lift. Your body is not moronic (unlike you), and knows to preserve muscle over fat.

            >fat will be burned before muscle tissues if you make sure to lift
Nah man, don't go too low carb. Think about it:
            >The brain needs ~120g carbs / day
            >~30g can come from glycerol from burning triglycerides
            >~90g must come from food or gluconeogenesis, or be replaced by ketones
            >Anaerobic exercise requires additional carbs for glycolysis so it's more than ~90g/day
            >Gluconeogenesis and ketogenesis are stimulated with a <90g carb diet after muscle and liver glycogen run out. These pathways will use ketogenic amino acids and fats to create ketones, and glucogenic AA's to create glucose. Some of your muscle mass will be spared to keep your brain alive.

You need carbs to keep your muscles, every athlete knows this.

Every golden age body builder ate high protein high fat low carbs diets and plenty of people do that now too. Carbs aren't necessary, it's a israeli lie.

Show it to me. Show me your incredible keto physique, free of israeli carbohydrate trickery. I want to see what kind of body is clacking that keyboard over there. Here's me after 2.5 years of high carb, high protein, moderate fat. I eat over 2kg of potatoes or an equivalent daily.

I don’t follow keto because it’s too hard but there’s no way you eat 3000+ calories a day. What’re you like 5’10?

5"11, good guess. Is it so hard to believe? With volume training 5x per week + sport and yoga my maintenance is easily in the 3000s.

They reduced their carbs when cutting, yes, but not to ketogenic levels. World-class bodybuilders have so much mass they can cut aggressively on 200+ grams of carbs. It is also silly to compare protein-sparing between enhanced and natural lifters.

Make sure you hit your target protein intake, and lift. You probably won't be able to go as heavy as you're used too, though.
