Tea tea oil shampoo leave it in for 5 mins then rinse and then head and shoulders shampoo. Repeat this for a week. The. Use just head and shoulders and tea tree shampoo any time your head feels itchy. Use both shampoos and your face as well if you ever get issues there.

If you had it you would know it can be controlled. If you don't have it to the point it's visible anymore because of treatment I'd say that was close enough to a cure.

For me it was no shampoo and sun exposure

This. An hour a day in the sun helps a lot.

head and shoulders dry scalp care. it’s worked for me for years. also get more sun and keep your hair short

      This.

Make an AIP diet for 4 weeks, it will clear out and when you introduce new food include only 1 per week so you know which ones flare you up. Alternatively, get an allergen study done by a doctor and learn what you should and should not eat.

Nizoral shampoo 2% every 3 days for the first 3 months, then once per week after that.
    Any area outside your scalp:
Moisturize any area with oil based moisturizer, I personally use Rosehip oil.
Exfoliate using Salicylic and Glycolic acid, do not use them together, instead alternate.
    Do this forever.

No amout of sunning your anus will cure it so just give up.

Bro did it look like this? It got prescribed to me too but I am scared to use it because I read cortisone can fuck your shit up.

Topical cortisone is fine, especially at dosage of these cremes, very little systematic effect. Cortisone does fuck your shit up, but that's because autoimmunefags need strong doses to keep their body from destroying itself. Some weak topical steroids won't dissolve your bones or give you diabetes

          >Topical cortisone is fine, especially at dosage of these cremes, very little systematic effect.
Sorry, but not only am I ESL but I am also kinda dumb. Is it safe to use (on my entire scalp) for about a week? Because the packaging says some crazy shit like "can strongly thin out your skin" and stuff, but the dandruff and itchiness is so fucking strong it is torture. I am afraid to use too much too because the packaging says jack shit about dosage just (put it on the spot) but my spot is my entire scalp so I am ultra spooked.

yes it's safe, cortisone essentially inihibits cell growth and cell interaction, thereby stopping inflammatory responses but also hindering the growth of other cells (so yes your skin can thin out temporarily, but it will return to normal again). If your doctor gave you cortisone you don't just have regular dandruf (judging by your description of extreme itchiness that seems true) but an inflammatory skin condition, seborrhoeic dermatits most likely, and you need cortisone to stop the vicious cycle of inflammation that fucks up your scalp. Once that's done you can stop with the creme and you'll most likely be fine. Some people have a predisposition for all sorts of dermatitis, but the vast majority of these outbreaks can be handled by a round of topical cortisone treatment.

As for the dosage, apply it step by step until you feel you've covered your scalp in a thin layer, just like any other creme

Thank you a lot, you calmed me down. I already suffer for years eith this condition but will start using it this weekend at the very latest.
God willing it shall go away.
              Thank you.

I hope it will, it usually does, these conditions are rarely truly chronic and resistant to therapy. It might flare up again later on, and you might have to go through some treatment every once in a while, but it's very much managable

Have it too. So far I’ve tried nizroal 2%, a bunch of anti dandruff shampoos, a bunch of regular shampoos, not shampoo every day, shampooing everyday, using olive oil soap, and buzzing my hair.

Nothing has worked. I think i’ll cave and finally see a dermatologist but I fucking hate seeing doctors.

Low PUFAs and antinutrients (avoid starches and vegetables for a while until it gets better, if there is a food you really like then try re introducing it)

I was just wondering. Not familiar with this brand name. Topical just means applied on the area of the problem. To differentiate with oral for example, if you got it in pill form, or intravenal by IV injection as the diminutive suggests.

Ive tried every meme under the sun to fix it naturally but i had to cave in and try to qualify for biologics. Currently on methotrexate but once a trial period is done i can be put on skyrizi. MTX is not too bad i found that if i take it in the evening w/ dinner i can sleep sleep thru the sides.

you can try what I did for my beard.
coconut oil, activated charcoal, sulfur, a little mint or something for smell.
Daily use, scrub it very carefully.
You have to use it daily no way around it.
if you don't scrub, the skin only builds and becomes worse and worse.

do you live in a mould affected area?
has there recently been floods or unlikely amounts of humidity and/or precipitations?
You may benefit more from anti-fungals and mould killer active ingredients, in which case.
Mould and Fungi thrive in high humidity, rainy areas.

Consider moving to an arid environment.

I'll throw my own experience out there, I have dermatitis on my scalp, and have struggles for years to get it under control. Other anons are right, there's not really a cure, but there are things you can do to fix it. I've tried eggs and apple cider vinegar, tar/charcoal shampoo, pyrothione zinc and zinc supplements, no shampoo (which actually was one of the better options). The only thing to really get it down to a point where I only occasionally notice any itching or flaking was when I got a prescription for ketoconazole shampoo, it is by far the best solution, and is very inexpensive to fill.

Hey, i had really bad psoriasis for a while two years ago
so i am telling you this from experience, because i know those falling snowflakes and the endless itching
    very well

the only solution, where you can root out this problem thourughly is to avoid processed foods and
    refined sugars
    just try it for awhile
after a week or so the condition lessens severly and then for fun eat ice cream and pizza again
trust me you will wake up the next day itching your head and by then you will understand

I struggled with flaky scalp for a few years (I also had it on my face too) i was initially told by some dipshit it was psoriasis and did a bucnh of stuff already suggested e.g. shampoos and things like this.

It turns out in the end i was diagnosed by another doctor with seborrheic dermatitis. Got given a prescription for betnovate (steroid active ingredient ala cortisone) which is very liquid and easy to apply on the scalp.

    OP, I need pictures

I have stared at every picture of scalp psoriasis on Google images, and I scratch them in my mind

I like how when it falls off in looks like little flakes of snow

I have looked at every picture of bald psoriasis on Bing

I like seeing the pink skin underneath when you scratch it off

I have seen every picture of thick psoriasis on Reddit and Imgur

I have spent probably 30 hours, cumulatively, of my life staring at and analyzing pictures of scalp psoriasis

OP, I demand you give me new material to stare at
