Anyways yeah, 5kg will make a big difference already.
Btw you can lose like 2kg by fasting for a day.
After that you lose 1kg per fasting day, but only 300g of that kg will be pure fat. The rest will be water and bloat.
My suggestion: fast for 15 days. 3 days a week for 5 weeks. You'll lose like 7kg total and will absolutely mog cicocuckolds.

I fasted for 45 days over the course 3 months. (Lost 13kg).
My strength went down 20%. Then, over the course of a month i regained 2kg, and my strength recovered to -10% of what it was when i was peak bloated.
So in the end it was scarificing 10% strength for 10kg of fat. In 3 months of fasting and 1 month of recovery. Quite a good deal, if you ask me

I would only drink water (sometimes "snake juice" - water and three types of salt) during my fasts.
(Ok, also lots of black tea).
Usually a "day" was 32 hours.

So i would have 3 of such fasting days per week.
If you don't want to lose strength the most important thing is that you keep training and going to failure. You can lift on non-fasting days as usual.
If you notice your strength declining too fast, you can switch to 2 fasting days per week. You need at least that many to keep making progress.
Calculate how many fasting days you need in total (i estimate 3 days per 1kg of fat) and don't give up till you reach that number of days.
