I've been lifting and cutting for 5 months now. Lost 8kg and 10 cm in the waist but no visual changes (maybe just my arms got noodlier) and still look like op. Will I really get even weaker?
High bodyfat doesn't make you look and feel bad by itself. Low muscle does. High bodyfat with decent muscle looks good. High bodyfat no muscle looks like shit. Why would a person with no muscle need to cut? What are they revealing? Their skeleton? Skinnyfats need to eat above maintenance and lift hard, consistently and pack on muscle just like skinny people.
I agree with you but building a solid musclarity base is an arduous journey. If it was easy everyone would do it.
