How do I force myself to workout with crippling anxiety?

Feels like there's a stone in my heart and I get incredibly sluggish when I do get to the gym. My heart hurts from a lot of emotional pain if I push myself too hard. How do I push through this?

you only get one life. Either fight the anxiety today or wallow in self-pity tomorrow

Look at fat disgusting whales, severly disabled or morbidly disfigured/deformed people that live like hermits, or an Indonesian kid eating pagpag because he's an unlucky son of a bitch. Whatever it is, find someone that's in a situation worse than you and compare how their life is worse than yours. Usually gets me pumped up knowing my life isn't that shitty.

Stop going to the gym. Workout at home. Dips, Rows, and Bulgarian Split Squats or Sprints. Seen dudes get insane bodies doing nothing but that.

The point is I can barely get out of bed, not that I'm scared of the gym.

Unironically just do it. Anxiety makes you think of everything that could go wrong and that ends up being a long list of possibilities. If you just do it those infinite possibilities narrow down to just one certainty. Also think back to the last time you went to Walmart or somewhere. Do you remember all the people you interacted with or even passed? Can you describe the person who you stood next to in line? Everyone else is living their own life in their head, they don't have time to worry about you and what you're doing. Go and improve yourself.

don't let others steal your gains, embrace the fact that you're a loser and an outcast, rebel in it, realize these people won't be at that gym forever, or you'll move away.

    Just stop thinking about it

Find a purpose, a dream, no matter how crazy.

And script it. That means, write an essay describing a perfect day living your perfect life. Put a year on it. Like 2025. So for example: "I woke up this morning, refreshed, its 2025. the streets still have the new year decorations. I remember that anon who told me this would work but I didnt believe him at first. God bless him. I exit the bed without disturbing my girl and go to the bathroom. In the mirror I see a man I am proud to have become. ......."

Do the whole day. Everything you describe needs to be perfect - exactly what you want.
You can change it with time, but it will solidify into a "Vision". Once you have that. You are on tracks for achieving it. Because by reading it daily you have become that man even before that day.
When that day comes it will feel natural as anything. BEcause you have been practiced being that man, for 2 years. Daily. Dont worry about how its gonna happen. Just do the drill. Impulses will come and u will follow them.

And read it daily. Morning and evening.

dont push thru it. You need to open your heart.

You need to cry that shit out. You need to figure out what u did wrong and decide you will never do it again. You need to become your best friend.
You need to find purpose again.

fuck I see I got digits, double luck mofo its time to get up.

Even if there is 1% chance of acheiving your goal, would you do it?

Ask yourself what type of life makes you happy?

Can you imagine yourself leading that life? Can you?
If you can, you will notice with time your vision becomes bolder. As you lose limits and move in the direction, you will get more faith. People will come to help you. money. Influence. Whatever you need to achieve the vision will come to you.

You just need to work on knowing what makes you happy. And be loyal to that. You will see some people fall out your life, but new will come.

You will know by the feeling in your gut, what you need to do. At first maybe you wont workout for a while. But with time it will happen again.
And then your whole body will cooperate.

If body had enough, dont force it. You cannot gain in a body ridden with cortisol and other stress hormones. Even with great diet and splits.

You need to work on your mind, welcome this time to work your mind.

Every goddamn book about success has visualization in it. I personally achieved many things with it.

Details differ but one thing is always same:
      1. ignore your current reality
      2. determine your dream and imagine living that life
      3. keep doing it and relax, you will know what to do and when to do it.

You suffer because u live in the past. U need a noble goal to get your body moving again, your desire to live and perform and breathe!!!!
Take your time and work on yourself meanwhile.

Life comes in waves. ebbs grows. Dark night of the soul man. Be thankful. If you do the steps you will be stronger AND HAPPIER.

    Fellow introvert here.

The answer is home gym. Start with calisthenics if you're poor, since you can get all the equipment you need for a few bucks.

I don't know what is going on in your life, but it sounds like you're struggling with some issues. My experiences are not comparable to yours of course, but what worked for me is this: tell yourself to go to the gym. Not to do this exercise or that workout, just get to the gym. The moment you enter, you win.

In my experience in the past it went something like this
    >I feel horrible and just want to lie down
    >I'll just go to the gym
    >Well, I'm here. It's a waste to do nothing so I'll warm up a bit and go home
    >Alright, warmed up. Maybe I'll just do a few sets, I'm here anyway
    >Huh, I just finished my workout. Neat.

Make the hurdle of going to the gym as small as possible and do what you can. Sometimes it might mean just walking in, doing two sets on the bench and leaving. That's fine, as long as it's not laziness but emotional exhaustion driving you it's fine. But at least you did something, which is better than nothing. At least you're maintaining the habit of going to the gym.

Good luck fren, things will get better over time. Right now you're in maintainance mode, make sure you don't degenerate and you can pick up where you left off when the good days come back. They'll come back for both of us.
