How do I get a body like this?

I’m 5’6, 117lb and want to make my body basically look like pic rel. I’m 24 and realise I can’t coast by on being thin forever as my metabolism will change; even slim middle aged people still have little pockets of fat, which is something I don’t want to have. So I figured the best way to delay the inevitable decline of my own body is by building muscle, which will burn fat and give me a degree of control over the fact my body is changing. So, to get back to the original point of this post, how do I go from being a skinny dyel to pic rel? How long will it take?

    Who knows how long it will take. It depends on how dedicated you are to lifting, how good your nutrition is, genetics, etc... The best thing is to just start today and figure it out as you go.

    Find a weight lifting routine four days a week, get your diet in check, and do maybe 20-30 mins of steady state cardio. How long it takes and how far you can go depends on your genetics, but newbies make great gains in a few months no matter what they do.

    Literally just stay lean, do basically bodybuilding workouts, and a decent amount of cardio. A chick I fricked for a while looked exactly like this and when we went to the gym together that’s what she did.
