How do I get on trt?
For most of my 20s I blasted. No cruising, just blast and blast. I asked my doc for a test last year and it came back around 100 so he sent me for another lab which came back just above that. (Which is normal for a 70 year old). I have all the symptoms of low t. All of the doctors in my small town work out of the same hospital. Should I drive to another doctor an hour away or ask for a new test since it's been a year? I want to start lifting again but I feel like it would be pointless knowing I will have the gains of a 70 year old.

Also, I'm in my 30s now and after the 2nd test last year the doctor said I didn't need injections.

I'm in my 30s moron. I'm not going to be purchasing things in that way forever. The risk start to outweigh the reward as you get older and get responsibilities

You could just buy the test and start at 150mgs split into two doses weekly and move it around from there after 8 weeks each change.

I just started, I went UGL though. I’ve had the sun to tons for years, test kept dropping nothing helped, at 26 my levels are borderline but because they were technically in range I was told I need an SSRI for my chronic fatigue, unwarranted anxiety depression, low libido, shit recovery from the lightest of workouts that were once less than my warmups, and the list goes on. Because I’m too young to have hormonal issues so clearly the answer is an overprescribed antidepressant and ignoring the issue at hand altogether.

It’s been great so far but I’m only about a month in. I feel like my old self again.

Then do what I’m doing and buy enough test for a year of TRT (3 vials of 250mg @ 10mL), do that, then get it prescribed legit once you stop for a few weeks and your test is way too low for them to deny you treatment.

Most urologists/endocrinologists are morons who will give you a cookie cutter program that's no good i.e. 200mgs every 2 weeks plus MANDATORY AI or even worse. It's not worth going to them for the most part. That being said you should go with a private clinic for awhile, get optimized, and then seek out a urologist. Just tell him hey this dose has been working for me can you do the same. It worked for me. Same urologist I saw 5 years ago that told me I didn't need TRT too, oddly enough.

Oh, I didn't see a endo/eurologist. It was just a physician. What do you mean by getting optimized at a private clinic? Like a trt clinic? We don't have trt clinics like they have in places like Florida

Yeah a general doc would be even worse. Although I'm surprised he didn't just say lol okay we'll get you on with levels that low.

By optimized I just mean finding the best dose for you, which can take months if not longer. Some guys really only need 100mgs to feel their best. Others need 200. Some but not many need a bit over 200mgs. Depends how sensitive you are. At 200mgs a week it puts my free T at around 30, so I dialed back to 175 a week, still got a script for 200 so I can save up lol. By the way before I forget to mention high doses of TRT can decrease iron/ferritin levels so you might wanna take a small supp on and off.

          Where do you live bro?
Here in Amerimuttland there's a lot of telehealth options, I found my old clinic through a israeliteBook page "TRT and Hormone Optimization." Plenty of good info there on this stuff.

I'm in muttland too. I guess I will try the telehealth options. I think those are the online type clinics your referring too. I'm not trying to get any high doses or anything. Just enough to start exercising again and not feel castrated

They are online, yeah. You can go in person but there's not a ton so.
Also, I'd avoid Elevate men's clinic. Had a bad experience with the doctors there. Owner is real smart but his lackeys are idiots.
Yeah man low as possible a dose to feel good is the way to go.

Why is he doing tests if he won’t do jack shit when it comes back low?

Man up and tell him you’ll leave him bad Yelp reviews and sue for malpractice, demand he treats you and remind him you paid for a service and you expect that service to be rendered

I don't know why. He probably doesn't want the liability that comes with giving me a bottle of testosterone and some needles. I don't think he cares about yelp reviews though. He a doctor that works out of a small town hospital

Also I think demanding doctors do anything drug related gets you flagged.

Because doctors, especially PCPs, are generally midwits with god complexes, used to bossing around 80IQ nigs who need to be told to stop eating and get down to at least 300lbs or they're going to die.

There's a reason that pilot school teachers dread learning that their client is a doctor.
