Heavy glute bridges are better at isolating the glutes than hip thrusts. I do 250 lbs for 4 sets of 10-12.
Banded donkey kicks will also make your glutes burn like crazy. I usually do them after my glute bridges, 4 x 20 each leg.
Some gyms have a glute kickback machine (kneeling or standing, doesn't matter). If you use them, the best way to engage the glutes is to fully extend your leg at each rep and squeeze your glutes really hard at that position.
My glute-focused days go:
250 lb glute bridge 4 x 10-12
190 lb leg press (high and wide stance) 4 x 8-10
115 lb kickback (unilateral) 4 x 10
banded donkey kick cooldown (unilateral) 4 x 20
This is shit. Lunges or better yet, BSS btfo everything you listed except glute bridges. Drop that faggy shit and do deep squats, RDLs, sumo DL, or the other 2 I mentioned. The glutes are strong muscles and you have to overload them with heavy fucking weight, not focus on "feeling the burn" with your ankle in a strap, and the leg press is shit for glute development.
Hi, I already do RDLs, sumos, and squats. Usually not on the same days that I focus on glutes.
I've been doing my glute routine for 3 years and have built a great ass. Those exercises I listed are just the ones I felt contributed the most.
Under certain lighting conditions those type of lycra pants become translucent.
The function of the glutes is twofold, one is to stabilize the hip (mainly gluteus medius and minimus), the other is to extend the hip (move upper leg back or move torso back).
So knowing this, flex through the hip without making the mistake where you also flex through the waist. For example do a standing knee raise and have one hand on your glute and try to feel it work through its range of motion and get a feeling of a contraction (easy) and stretch (hard). If you can do it with your hand try to do it without your hand, and if you can do that as well try to do some lunges or forward bends while focusing on your glutes.
If you can do this you can basically make any leg exercise glutecentric. Do both single and double leg glute exercises and Imo don't neglect your legs either.
When I started I had no ass at all but my legs were ridiculously muscular for being a noob. The answer is making your entire lower body day very glute heavy. Even your quad based lifts like squats should be low bar or split squats only. If it doesn't work the glutes in some way it doesn't belong in your leg day

It’s very dependent on the machines they have. If you have a kickback style machine that will work well but otherwise you are going to have to struggle as glutes are hard to isolate.
HEAVY dumbbell lunges work the best for me, you will hardly be able to walk if you do them properly. Take a big stretch with one leg forward and use all your muscles to get up

My main issue with glute maxxing is that I don't how to exactly program in an split.
Like how many days should I train it? I follow an upper lower split, but i feel like I need an extra day, as adding glute training on top of other lower body muscles seems too much.
if you're really trying to glute maxx than you give up on upper body, so it becomes split focusing on glutes for one and the rest of the lower body + lower back to the other.
If you're glute maxxing, then you don't need to have upper body strength

You can easily explain away the big 3 lifts (deadlift, benchpress, squat) as normal full body lifts, just limit the weight on the benchpress and focus on putting more weight onto the deadlift and do a low bar squat. You can then explain away barbell split squats, which mainly utilize the glutes, as a variation to prevent injury. Same with Romanian deadlifts.
Also, learn to defend yourself: boxing and wrestling is a prime combo and you probably have studios within spitting distance for you in the south. That'll also let you explain away your lifts as being for fighting.
