how do I pull myself out of a deep negative spiral? I got IST enough to have abs by feburary (145 lb), but ever since valentines day I've been deeply spiraling, have gained 5 lbs, keep calling out of work, punched a whole through two of my monitors, etc etc.

I'm just so depressed and unhappy and the realization that being IST and shredded has literally no benefit to my life besides making me feel starving all the time (I just got ghosted by another girl I went on a first date with last tuesday)

I ordered 6 crumbl cookies and that's all I ate for breakfast this morning lol. I know I'm destroying my progress. I think deep down I want to self destruct enough to the point that I pull the trigger and blow my skull open with my italian pump action shotgun with 3/4 buckshot slugs

    Start somewhere. Improve, fix, or do something that you know you should be doing, and build momentum from there. You just need to start. That's all the advice I can give considering the information you've gave. Also you should probably bulk, trying to get super lean all the time isn't a good idea especially if you don't have much muscle to begin with, wait until you actually have some mass on your frame before doing that (But don't gigabulk either, bulk slowly, 1-2lb per month, 3-4 max if you're a novice. When you hit somewhere around 18-21% bodyfat, you can either do a normal cut or a minicut, then continue bulking from there. Train hard and sleep a lot, obviously)

    You are trying to stay to lean. Trying to stay to lean will have negative effects on energy and mood and if you are already depressed and your life sucks then you are just amplifying that by being to lean.

    If you are that depressed and your life sucks, then you need all the energy and good mood you can get in order to try and fix your life imo, so try adding back calories and go up to a bodyfat % that you can maintain without feeling any hunger, low moods/energy, and just try to maintain or maingain while you work on your life. Use fitness a healthy habit to keep your head over water while you fix your shit.

      You did everything right for a long time, and now you fail at it again. Imagine looking at yourself right now from the perspective of yourself in january. what would you say to yourself? but more important, what would you think about yourself gulping down on those cookies?

      summer is coming up anon. go find your motivation and dedication again, but this time, start reading books and develop interests. not because you want that big tiddy goth gf, but because you treat yourself with dignitiy and respect, because you want to become a likable person.

      in the end you gonna make it, but not with that mindset of yours. so keep pushing more, work on your social skills like you work on your body and it'll work out in the end.

      I think January me would just tell me to kill myself if I could see how nothing ever improves. It's not just being IST either. I have been trying to improve my social skills for a long time, I even traveled all last summer staying in hostels and socializing 24/7. All it did was reduce my self esteem to rubble as I embaressed myself with my social autism again and again. Fast foward to today and despite trying to be as likable and normal as I can at my job I still have zero friends in this world. I can see it on people's faces that they don't like being around me.

    being too ripped means not enough fat, not enough fat lower your testosterone and metabolism. eat more animal fat, a lot of salt(salt is natural anti depression and also raise metabolism) plenty of meat and going for a walk outside under the sun

    Fix your personality and humble yourself a bit.

    Volunteer, work with the disabled, get in an environment where YOU aren’t the main focus. These environments will force you to grow emotionally, and they have tons of women. It can be a fricking nightmare sometimes, but it’s worth it.
