Eat healthier, eat less calories, exercise. Start out with going for walks. As you lose weight, go for longer and longer walks. That’s literally it. Come back here when you’re sub 300 pounds.
Ignore this advice anon. Start running, but do it gently. If you can't run on flat ground find a steep hill that you can hold a running pace going downhill.
Strength is also super important. You don't need a barbell or anything. Doing high rep air squats can burn a lot of calories.
Also your joints are going to be weak, so work in some plyometrics sessions too. Take the same approach to running (start easy by doing downhill), if you can't box jump 20inches try doing depth jumps instead. Step up onto the box and jump off land with straight legs and use the elastic energy to bound from that.
>downhill
bro, isnt downhill easier on cardio but worse on joints? Thats the opposite of what op should do
Id say that you should >walk >eat 2(one big and one small(think breakfast size)) meals a day -preferably that you cooked from scratch >actively avoid processed foods >no snacks >drink only water from now
fatties drink soda every day and for some reason their brains dont register that as a meal so its ok.. even fatties who actively try to lose weight and stick to a diet drink sodas, I guess they think its no big deal lol
>fatties drink soda every day and for some reason their brains dont register that as a meal so its ok
liquids don't fill you up like solid food. it's stupidly easy to take in a lot of excess calories from shit like soda
>food
Avoid sugar other than fruit because it'll make you hungrier easier. Aim for 2000 calories a day and rely heavily on lean meat, fruit, and vegetables to keep you full. If you don't keep your calories under control you'll never lose weight. If you have a lot of cravings then Remington James on YouTube has recipes for high protein low calorie junk food. Don't use his recipes more than a few times per week though. Most are still nutritionally empty junk but at least they won't make you fat like normal junk food. >exercise
Very light cardio is going to be key for you. Lots and lots of walking. Swimming is also a great option for you. You can lift weights if you want to but exercises like leg press, squats, any exercise where your belly will get in the way is going to be an issue until you're not as big. >drinks
Black coffee, tea, and diet soda is fine to drink, but be sure to drink mostly water if you can manage. For someone your size dehydration is a serious concern so keeping some sugar free electrolyte drinks like pedilyte nearby when you exercise is a good idea.
Start with this and get your lifestyle in order. You can go far quickly with this guide. Once you're below 300 pounds then come back for more instructions
Throw out all your food.
You will never be 400 lbs on a >MEAT >COTTAGE CHEESE/ANY HIGH PROTEIN-MEDIUM/LOW FAT CHEESE >FRUITS
diet
Eat that and you will lose weight
As extras I suggest you also eat tomatoes, potatoes and bread.
Diet is 80% of weight loss, at the least. Usually closer to 95% unless you're suddenly very active.
Get your calories in order. Visit your doctor and get one of those new GLP-1 drugs if you can't. At your weight, it'll practically melt off.
Any basic bitch lifting routine will help you maintain muscle mass. Full body, twice a week. Easy as fuck. But doing that alone won't get you fit - you can't outrun a bad diet, and you can't outlift your fork.
....Jesus, OP....
Well, start by finding your BMR, then try 500 less than that a day. An easy way to do that is by simply cutting out any drink other than water. After about the first 20 lbs, you should start changing other aspects of your diet. Absolutely no processed foods.
Ignore the anons who say to do cardio, it only makes you hungry and thus more likely to relapse into a binge. >t. went from 210 to 110 in two years
Just stop eating, straight up. Go as long as you can on nothing but multivitamins and water. When you do eat, make sure it's high in protein. Tuna or turkey or chicken. Don't bother working out at the weight you are, just fast down to like 250 then start the exercise.

If you allowed it to get this far, you're not going to ever change.
start going for walks
eat less processed food
report back once you are 250 so you can start exercising
do not exercise in this shape

>telling a lardass to run downhill
Cruel. Running at OPs bodyweight will destroy his joints and running downhill is even higher impact. Fucking idiot.
Just wait until he starts doing depth jumps. I want to see a 400 pound man do a depth jump just to see what it'll do to his knees.
OP do not listen to this retard. You will wreck your body and be nearly crippled within a few weeks. He's ill intentioned

you don't have any business running at 400 lbs
it's an injury waiting to happen, which will make it all worse
OP focus on walking every day
1 hour at a brisk pace
replace sugary drinks with water (you can do this gradually if you have soda addiction)

Age?
I’d recommend
big boy. You may never be a aesthetic but you could have the makings of a bloat lord.
He will fit right in with PLG
whole foods, plant based, added salt, oil, sugar free diet
