What helped me at first was dried fruit. It scratched my itch without being complete goyslop. Then I ate less little by little. It's harder than dropping soft drinks but still doable.

eat all the sweets and junk food once. find out what you like the best. eat those best 1-3 things over and over until you get sick of them. then you will never feel the urge to eat junk again the rest of your life

This, you get bored of some food(in general not just sweets) and if you managed to get bored of them you will at most indulge a few months later again but never to the same huge extent ever again, just once in a while.

This weirdly works. Peanuts were my bane when I was losing weight. I finally broke down, ate 3 canisters of peanuts in one sitting, vomited them up, and have never had them since.

Jack LaLanne lived on soda and donuts before he got fit. He used fruit salad to scratch that itch and got himself under control

Oh also try chewing gum, a piece of gum is 5 calories tops and lasts a long time, and as long as you're chewing it you can't shove calorie-dense sweets down your throat.

Don't eat the first one. There is no "just one". Your body is wired to seek high calorie food to help you through winter or times of struggle.

Replace them with protein bars, ones that have at least 50% protein.
Still sweet but all the protein will fill you up much faster
