Answer the question. How many calories per bag?

Anonymous

315
30 per popped cup
10.5 cups per bag
it's really not that hard

Wrong. Where are even getting 10.5 from?! Thanks for proving my point they are intentionally tricking us

Its 15.1666667 cups popped per bag
3.5*2tbsp unpopped per bag. 130kcal per 2tbsp unpopped. Thats 130*3.5 or 455kcal per bag. Divide by 30kcal per cup popped is 15.1666667 cups. They tricked you.

More than 500 less than 900
I don't care to get more precise.

You are fat and low iq. Very called for tbh

>they make me want to think it’s only 130 calories
No they don’t, they want you to share it with someone because a bag has 3.5 servings. Quit blaming others for your lack of understanding or STAY FAT.

>fat
Popcorn is a low calorie, fiber dense, high volume food. Next you will tell me watermelon will give me diabetes.

No but people who eat watermelon tend to eat other sugary junk food 🙂

Oh that's easy....
>sees you're talking about fricking popcorn
Zero, homie, because I ain't eating that shit. The math is impossible.
Who the frick eats raw popcorn?

Alright, shit man.
I think I got it.
First off, frick that 3.5 servings shit. It is 4.
25g kernels makes about 4 cups of popped popcorn.
Multiply the right column by 4 and its close enough to the left for shit to match.
>shit, we want per bag now...
21 servings per bag means we got about 6 bags.
>frick, number of bags dont matter, b***h
They're saying the 25g of kernels is a serving so we multiply the left column by 3.5 and there are 455 calories per bag.
I bet if we looked at the gross weight on the box, we'd be able to really nail down how many kernels per bag.

seems pretty straightforward to me, 3.5*130=455kcals per bag
who is "they" btw?

“Pop secret”

Why do they publish multiple different serving sizes, none of which correspond to the amount in one bag? They intentionally want to make me think the bag is 130kcal

Anonymous

Because they don't want to scare people into not buying it because of big scary calorie number, this has been an industry practice for awhile
If you know how to read you can figure it out easily, it says a serving size is 2tbsps which is 130kcals and that there are 3.5 servings in a bag
frickinnnnn DUHHHHHHHHH

Anonymous

But it also says 2tbsp makes 3 cup which is 90 calories. 3.5*90 is only 315. So which is it?

>No they don’t
NTG but they absolutely do. They chose that serving size so normies who make a low effort to monitor their intake will glance at the box, only see the big number, and assume serving size is a bag. It's very obvious that is the intent, and you know that but you're being disingenuous for the sake of it.

Pretty moronic, yeah. Sue them for anti-consumer practices.
>inb4 no i won't
Then stop fricking complaining. I have 5 lawsuits currently ongoing. 9 are done, 6 were won, all 6 gave me money. Sue shit, your taxes are funding courts, use them.

Do you have any recommendations for attorneys in the bay area specializing in popcorn law?

Look for consumer rights lawyers, but any half-decent lawyer should be able to build a case.

Enlighten me as to the correct answer because as it stands the posts in this thread contradict each other and the box appears to contradict itself. Your insults are uncalled for.
