    ideally you'd cut till you're under 15% to optimize your p-ratio when gaining, but if you're as moronic+unlucky as me, you might just cripple yourself by, for example, not training enough to preserve connective tissue and lean mass enough
    so instead, start eating well and lifting, don't go too fast too hard - focus on steady sustainable strength increases, especially bones and connective tissue
    then do the usual bulk cut cycle
