you came to the wrong place. Stop eating like shit, go look up lifts to try, go learn about different cardio. If you've got money to spend then go get a trainer and hire a nutritionist to sort your shit out.
If you're already at a gym then sign up for some free classes that way.

Use a TDEE calculator, eat less than what it tells you. Stop eating or drinking sugar or HFCS. Read the fricking sticky

                >read the sticky
                >so you can learn a lot of useless shit like TDEE calculators
                >which just take your BMR and add one of 3 chunks of completely fictional estimated calories based on self reported activity

TDEE is a fricking waste of time and anyone who recommends them is not serious about losing bodyfat

Let me guess: CICO is a myth and if you follow some balding moron on youtube you'll not only lose weight but become superhuman too? Frick off ketard
                >t. Lost 40lbs using CICO and eating clean

        Skinny fat isn't skinny.
You have no muscle mass and when you get even a little bit, your belly will go full beer gut.
Stop making excuses and put down the fork.

Do i simply fast and eat only before and after a workout?

If it bothers you that much. Go on a diet to 10% bodyfat and stand up straight and flex your abs. Start your way up from there.

Sure. Whatever you can stick to that involves eating less.
            CICO is cool too.
            Fasting is cool too
            just eat less.

try a low carb diet, that's the key to getting visible abs and being lean in general. in general, eat less, but carbs == bloat so the less you eat the leaner you'll be.
everyone is now going to freak out and call me a ketolard, but they do it because they know i'm right.

eat more carbs throughout the day
    attain higher tdee
there's reason all roided hollywood actors eat 5 to 7 meals a day
they're always hungry and never full so never get lethargic and stay active, their metabolism is on fire all day
    never relax
though this demands high quality 8+ hours of sleep every night

there's no such thing as 'fasting mode', your body won't burn less because you've eaten, if anything it will burn more from you eating a little but not enough to stave hunger as this increases your metabolism
