I like pull push legs more than a traditional PPL. Pull days are partially leg days after all. I also think it's better to spread back work throughout the week as well as just having a singular day. The back can take a lot of punishment and it's easy to bias different muscles in the upper back by changing grips and angles just a little bit

I congratulate you on being the only normal and helpful reply and didn't immediately fall for the bait image anon

The first thing I did when i started PPL in 2014 was to make it Pull-Push-Legs, it’s such an obvious error in the original design of the routine to have Push first. I think it was made by someone who doesn’t really train legs that hard, and most people don’t train legs let alone train them hard, so 99.99% of people just stuck to Push/Pull/Leg

I think anyone who actually trains legs hard would have figured out it’s better doing Pull-Push-Legs

why is it better that way around? because you deadlift on pull day?

What do you guys mean? I just do deadlifts on leg day. What’s the problem with doing it in the other order? Either you’re doing legs then back, or back then legs. What difference does it make?

better to do a back day with back kinda tired from deadlifts the day prior than doing deadlifts with your back fully fricked from the day prior

except if you actually pull heavy your the muscles which assist you in your push will be fricked up, you made a classic dyel mistake, push always goes first

A little leg heavy. Better than starting strength and shit like that but unironically too focused on legs.

I like it, but Ive modified it a bit, for me what I do is push and then a pull day, then I rest a day, and then I do a push and a pull day, and then I rest 2 days, its worked out pretty well for me so far

Honestly, it's the only good program but you should probably adjust it for your own personal routine
