I'm never motivated to go to the gym, it's always a struggle. You just gotta do it.

I disagree, getting in my car and driving to the gym is way harder. Really it’s even the first half of that. Like physically getting changed and into my car. Once I’m halfway there I can pump myself up even after a 12 hour day of office wage cuckery and weird meals.

How many days do you go to the gym per week? How long do you stay at the gym?

Not the same guy, but I go 6 days a week for 2 hours at a time. Broski split.

5-7 years, off an on. But the last two years have been dialed in. Once I started seeing the arms veins I couldn't stop.

4 days a week of lifting, 1-2 days of cardio if I have time. Usually I spend 1.25 hours in the gym but it’s about 1.5 hours now that I’ve introduced a quick pre-session from my PT for fixing my shoulder

Same. Just willing myself into the truck is the worst. But once I'm there I get super amped and am always glad I went, even on off days.

You have to get up with a routine and set things in motion. Even on days where I feel absolutely exhausted and motivated I force myself to commute to the gym, and once I'm there I feel good enough to get my workout done 🙂

        Basically this

It's really hard for me to go to gym. I usually spend 2-3 hours there, idk exactly why. I would like to spend less time so it is not so draining physically and emotiobally. I think I do not know some important concepts about training. I was told I need to look in to periodization (I think) because I train hard every time I go. Something about lowering the weight for some inbetween sessions.

      do 45-90 mins max

Jesus dude. I can't do more than 45 minutes. If I can't get a body I'm happy with by training four days a week for about 30-45 minutes then fuck it, I just don't care. I do three exercises (two full body, one accessory or whatever) and that's it. I can see myself doing it the rest of my life and that's good enough for me.

If you're there over 2 hours you're most likely wasting your time in multiple areas. Either too much rest between sets or junk sets. You don't need to be there 3 hours.

It motivates me and gives me a deep sense of optimism and passion

OP here. I was fasting and felt I wouldn't be able to lift a dumbbell so instead of training while fasting I ate, waited two hours and then trained. Wasn't exactly my plan but at least I trained. Hope this doesn't affect my weight less negatively.

        coffee, caffeine pills, preworkout, etc.
one of the biggest benefits of an ECA stack was always the extra energy it gave you on a cut, not the appetite suppression or whatever

I tell myself it will be uncomfortable, but nothing close to the lingering pain of disappointing myself.
I ask myself which is worse, discomfort or pain, then eventually put my shoes on.

          this too

Training for me is walking right now. Lifting when I feel like it. Walking suppresses appetite and gives serotonin gains making you not crave junk food meaning the little hunger I do feel is easily satiated with some chicken titty. Meaning I can walk hours a day and eat around 1000 calories without feeling that bad. The only hard part is to start, but after that it’s smooth sailing. Basically PSMF made easy. Fight past the first few weeks and it’s the new norm.
