Biggest thing for me was to stop touching my face. Drinking a lot of water and changing your pillow sheet also helps
Turn 20 and finish puberty
For me absolute biggest one was changing pillowcase and to take a shower before you go to bed instead of in the morning. Never go to sleep with hair gel or any other hair products still in your hair
Well there is this website called IST. On this website is a board called IST(stands for fashion). On this particular board is a general known as the skincare general. That general will have the answers, both normal and schizo, to all your questions. Have a good day
almost every link is dead
You piqued my curiosity but it seems like most of the best answers have already filtered over through crossposting
Jews cause acne it's in that israelite bible they read at israelite church. Every candle they light at israelite Christmas is an acne kaballah spell to give everyone ass zits.
How to get rid of ass zits?
It's gay but I had to switch to vegan protein, whey gave me terrible cystic acne. And I use adapalene daily, after 60 days I had super clear skin.
>he still takes protein powder
Just eat food you massive homosexual
>just eat 2 chicken breasts as a midday snack bro
Dont ever post again you colossally dense homosexual
A peanut butter shake countains a bunch of protein and it isn't made with dried chinese cow milk full of heavy metals and preservatives.
A peanut butter shake also includes hundreds of excess calories from fat and carbs. The entire point of protein powder is to bypass this and make cutting easy mode with straight protein.
Please stop posting your moronic dyel opinions.
Yeah lemme just consume a shit ton of excess fat and unnecessary garbage when I just need protein. Frick off moron
Imagine not eating eggs, yogurt and nuts.
Broke ass moron probably can't afford protein LMAO
if your question is not niche at all and something people talk about often: open the search engine of your choice and type your question there homosexual moron
Stop drinking and cut out sugar
Those are piercings.
i know and it's fricking hot even though it screams mental illness
I hope so...I really thought they were big juicy pimples
The absolute state…
how often do you guys change your pillow case?
I sarted making my own soap at home because store bought shampoo made my head itch like crazy, even the anallergic "mild" ones.
It happened that when I started using my own soap, my back acne went away and my face acne was greatly reduced (it wasn't very severe, just a few pimples but the back acne never went away before this).
It's just castille soap made with olive oil, lye and water, very easy to make you just need the ingredients a scale, a blender and something to pour the soap into, like silicone moulds.
Don't add fragrances colorings and shit though.

This is the only thing that’s ever worked for me and it’s worked almost perfectly (my hair still gets insanely oily and I have to wash it everyday or cut it very short)
Things I tried prior: accutane twice, tretinoin gel, 2 antibiotics, lots of water, keto for 30 days, vegetarian for 30 days, more sunlight, new pillowcase every night
For some of us it’s genetic, I tried almost everything and wanted to kill myself and only that skincare routine worked
Damn that's fricked
I put a lotion on my face
I stopped eating most dairy and doing sugar.
>doing sugar
where you snorting sugar, wtf do you mean doing sugar, it's not cocaine
Morning:
Cerave hydrating facial cleanser
10% benzoyl peroxide gel
Night:
Cerave hydrating facial cleanser
Clindamycin phosphate lotion (1%)
Cerave facial moisturizing lotion
this is what worked for me
I never never never never wash my face in the shower
As soon as any soap or cleanser reaches my face I'll break out immediately
How tf do you get acne after 20? Are you all underage wtf. I get the ocasional pimple that last 3 days every couple of months, but acne? Wtf just grow tf up!
There are definitely a lot of high school kids and freshmen/sophomore college posters on this board, yes. The real answer is genetics of course. I never got much facial acne even during the peak puberty years. Others aren’t so lucky.
I'm 28 and still get it. From 13-16 I had truly horrific acne tho. Like, my face would be swollen in places and tender or painful in others. I would frequently get cystic acne as well. My face is covered in scars now so in the right light I look like Freddy Krueger. Now the occasional pimple hardly registers for me, I'm just glad that over the years things have just become less bad than they were when I was a teenager.
Clear skin for 26 years. At 27 random break outs started. Can't find the cause. So fricking moronic.
Unironically I think it's an aspect of my puberty that got delayed. I only got a few pimples when I was in highschool but now in college they're really coming out. It might be partly tied to dairy though so I'm trying to cut it out/limit it the best I can
I'm 26 and I get only the occasional pimple, but my shoulders are the problem. I don't know why and I've tried different things that don't seem to make a difference. And no I'm not on roids.
same age and same problem here. I already change clothes and sheets often, eat clean and shower in the evening every day and I still get them
> Schizo posting is welcome
My time to shine
What app is this?
AnyList.
It’s just a grocery list app, not for skincare.
Thanks
>ordinary red acid
>daily
what the actual frick
Acne is estrogen.
Cut out PUFA, start eating more sugar and make sure you're getting a lot of vitamin D
>druggies will seethe and reply that my advice is schizo and doesn't work in 3,2,1...
fasting
no sweets
that shit around her neck isnt acne, I think it's actually those skin piercings
Going on a lion diet(Carnivore diet, but just ruminant flesh) would clear up any and all causes in no time (6 months). The fat-soluble toxins from plants will seep out and cause the occasional acne while your body detoxifies itself, but it'll be worth it when you're trim and acne-free.
Post body ( you won't)
I stopped eating chocolate and it fricked right off. Lay it off for a couple weeks and see if its a thing for you.
>pronouns in bio
Biggest red flag that a girl is a nutcase.
you get kicked and banned off all dating sites if you don't put pronouns in bio, bro
stay away from them!
Keeping hormones in check. Idk why they don't check minors hormone levels when they have full blown cyctic acne, modern medical doctors should be fricking shot. Besides that, zero sugar, zero corn syrup, zero dairy. You've heard it before but that really do be how it is. Just try it and be amazed. Problem is, young kids don't have the attention span to pull that off. Try tanning if that fails. All the shit the dermatologist gives you is bullshit. Do not take the antibiotics for acne, it doesn't fricking work.
t. Had acne my whole life, even went on accutane.
Also wash your face often, keep your hands off your face or wash immediately after touching, find a face scrub that works and stick with it. Ive used st ives apricot scrub forever
The acne on my face took for ever to clear up, but it did after I stopped picking at it so damn much
My bacne was much harder, but after I started taking a shower right after waking up, right after the gym or work, and using a mixture of aveeeno lotion and a 10% benzoyl peroxide gel, it finally cleared up
Worked for me, also get some sun once in awhile
How do I prevent and improve back acne? My face is as beautiful as baby ass but my back is an abomination volcanic pus filled pimple mess. I shower and scrub my back every morning with a long handled back scrubbing tool with bodysoap and its still erupting and multiplying. I wear cotton shirts (I change a shirt a day), cut diary and minimise sugar intake/carbs. I change bedsheets once every month. It gets even worse during winter. I am heavyweight. I lift 2-3 gyms a week and I am built like Tank Abottt (UFC) in 1995. Maybe Vitamin D defieciency? My testosterone is high and above average according to my doctor. I don't remember the numbers. Any intel to share to me? thanks.
Quit being fat and get off gear?
Scrubbing too much can make it worse. Use gentle soap and moisturise if your back is dry
I had to stop using soap everytime I washed my face. I use just plain water most of the time and soap maybe once a week. I honestly think the soap was irritating my skin
what's that on his chest? aids?
just have better genetics bro
>t. perfect skin without trying
Adult acne comes down to a few things, imo...
Diet
Hygiene
Stress
How clean is your diet? Are you eating lots of refined carbs and sugars, or keeping your carbs clean? Avoid lots of refined carbs like in store-bought bread, pasta, junk-food etc., and don't shy away from natural carb sources like those in fruit and milk. Eliminate junk-food entirely - no chips, no candy, no soda; limit alcohol if you drink often. No room for questions... got it?
How's your hygiene routine?
Are you showering too much, and always with hot water? You are stripping away the natural oils and your sebaceous glands are working hard to replace them. Replacing the oils with a moisturizer immediately after a hot shower, especially on your face, is crucial, as you'll avoid overworking your sebaceous glands - I believe overworked sebaceous glands get inflamed easily.
Are you not showering or washing your face enough?
Are you using quality (natural) soap and not overdoing it, or are you overdoing it with a harsh scented lab-grade bodywash? Are you touching your face?
I don't shower daily, but when I do I hit the main areas (pits, groin & ass, & feet) with an unscented, quality bar-soap; and I wash my face twice a day with cold water and a gentle facial cleanser then moisturize after, and my skin is super clear.
How stressed are you? Are you sleeping enough? When I'm stressed, I find myself touching my face; and when I'm not sleeping enough I get stressed out easily. I usually only get the random pimple every now and again because of the implications of stress.
Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
stop washing your face with soap you fricking idiot
Don't do roids.
Shower every day.
It's really that simple.
For me, it's a benzoyl peroxide cleanser morning and night, vitamin C+ hylauronic acid+sunscreen in morning, retinol one night, AHA the next.
>Accutane is the cure of acne
>shower twice a day
>don’t pick
Verification not required
Man that is brutal. On the plus side she looks young for her age.
short answer: it's extremely complicated and involves 10+ different factors which can be contributing to it. if you go from the premise that acne is an inflammatory chronic illness (which it is), you can get a good framework to test things from.
things to consider.
1. cutting out ALL dairy and simple sugars, including whey
2. hygiene of clothing/bedding
3. codemogenicity of skincare products. what do you put on your face?
4. contact irritation/allergy testing
5. levels of stress and sleep
6. anabolic boosting supplement use (even creatine)
7. shaving routines - big cause of irritation
8. sunlight exposure
9. are you taking any medications currently? these can drastically affect skin conditions. certain supplements can cause chronic acne (B complex is a good but lesser known example).
10. smoking tobacco/weed (known to inflame skin kerotins)
11. rest of diet. evaluate simple carbs and sugars especially. this can and will include things like fruit, juices, white breads, etc.
12. NOW you can consider medication. isotretinoin unfortunately has extreme side effects and is directly linked to cataracts and eye problems later in life. wikipedia actually has a very good treatment matrix for acne depending on severity. generally you'll need 3-4 medications and multiple supplements AFTER you get the rest of everything else listed in order and eliminate inflammation and irritation. BP, azelaic acid, tretinoins, topical retinoids/antibiotics, salyclic acid, niacinamide are the usual first-line treatments. oral NSAIDs and supplementation with high dose zinc + normal reigments of omega 3, C, D3, melatonin and high dose B3 can help as well. alternative options include dermarolling and intensive daily red light treatment, those should be considered as well.
unfortunately acne is a chronic disease and ages 9-28 for men is considered "adolescent" skin which is prone to inflammation (kek). if you are under 30 understand acne is normal. ironically it actually gets worse for women
I had terrible acne (like this but a bit worse) as a teen. I had a course of tetracycline (probably now doxycycline) and went on holiday and sunbathed for a few weeks.
Completely cleared it up and would only get a couple of spots from time to time
>sunbathing while on tetracyclines
are you moronic or just a troll?
If you've done the basics (clean face every night etc) this is how you get rid of acne: Stop all face products and add zinc. 10-15mg elemental a day, if that diesnt change anything remove inflamnatory foods. Start with sugar then dairy and last gluten. Gluten gives me acne issues and so do dairy. Once you've done that your skin should clear up. If it doesnt, or its slow, add high quality probitics. Home made water kefir is the cheapest and strongest.
IF this still doesnt do anything u might have fungal acne/dermatitis on ur skin and dead sea salt sprays and mct oil C8 helps a lot with that. There, thats 15 years of acne research.
Cold water, drink more water (buddeh), more sun exposure, decrease caffeine consumption, less stress
Literally that simple.
Stop falling for stupid israelite shit and buying harmful and expensive skin care products.
Skin routines are gay, face masks are gay, you are GAY!
Skicare costs pennies a day and prolongs your youth. You're avoiding one of the faucets of the fountain of youth "cuz gay."
Going with the expensive kit that is advertised by manosphere youtubers, or buying into expensive subscriptions, isn't the way to go, but a simple cleanser, moisturizer, exfoliant every now and then, maybe some retinol, and other things pertaining to the specifics (vit C serum for dark eye area, etc) you're looking to improve is dirt cheap and very beneficial with consistency.
I'll bet you dress like a toddler "cuz fashion gay."
Gut health. Kefir and galric/onions. Reduce whatever is causing inflammation. For me it was peanuts, white bread shit like that. Google high inflammatory foods and remove everything that you have in your diet.
>"Debra Penny? so your 2 different girls?
whenever a girl has a double barreled name i open with that because i heard Groucho Marx say it once
I'm not a fan of piercings already but those ones that are inserted in your skin instead of going through something are straight up disgusting, I still don't understand why anybody would do this to themselves l
Don't touch the breakouts. Wash with soap after exercise and before bed. Clean sheets and pillowcases at least weekly.
>Don't touch the breakouts
I've been popping them all my life. There's nothing more disgusting than looking at a white headed pimple on someone's face, I'd rather cut it off with a knife and have a gaping wound on my face.
acne is caused by what you eat and drink. your body doesnt like what youre taking in and causing an autoimmune response i suggest you follow an elimination diet. yes, it's hard, but if you cant do that then youre fricking weak-minded and dont have the ability to do anything remotely challenging in your life.
stop eating like shit, you'll stop feeling and looking like shit.
Yeah, I had to give up chocolate entirely because it consistently gave me pimples.
the reason chocolate gave you pimples:
>refined sugar
>oxalates
>lectins
>theobromine (triggers a stress response)
all of the "health" benefits from cacao is also really shitty advice because the polyphenols that are the benefit is naturally occuring in your body if you exercise.
thanks Satan!
I get shitty scalp and face pimples after eating processed crap, especially sweet stuff. When I cut them off, my skin clears up after a few days. Maybe check what you eat? It's usually what you ingest that causes problems.
this is the answer to this thread. stop eating like shit, you'll stop getting pimples.
>b-b-but i use this cream
>b-b-but i change my sheets
>b-b-b-b-b-but i never touch my breakouts!
have you ever thought about what you put into your body? you think that pepsi is good for you? that candy bar? all of that processed bullshit? clean up your diets and you wont have any problems. it's literally that easy.
also, another side-effect of eating better is your body composition. if your body is triggering a immune response, you probably have other things going on that you CANT see.
stop being such little b***hes and fix your diet
satan wants you to eat like crap. he wants you to feel and look like shit. he wants to suppress you. not me, anon. i want you to become a fricking gladiator. we need more of them in this world.
>i want you to become a fricking gladiator
>tfw no place to legally fight prisoners to the death for money
tough times are coming, anon. you never know what will happen. prepare yourself.
its better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.
>than a gardener in a war.
homie doesn't know about cultivating and distilling poisons
Not really acne but I have pretty significant keratosis pillaris, which can look sort of like acne sometimes, on my arms legs and ass mostly.
I use Cetaphil Rough and Bumpy moisturizer in the morning and Clindamycin lotion after shower at night (for folliculitis, basically inflamed follicles from the KP).
During shower I use 10% benzoyl peroxide wash and also an exfoliating wash cloth (Goshi).
Doesn't totally resolve KP, its permanent for me—a lot of people grow out of it by the time they are 30—but it reduces it a fair bit.
Also change your sheets and pillow cases frequently.
nothing complicated. Change your pillowcase often. If you currently have acne buy a pack of them (cotton) and change it every night. When it's better reduce the changing. I change mine 2-3 times a week. Keep your diet good, stay hydrated, and keep your skin's moisture barrier healthy. I do this by putting on MCT oil in the shower (a few drops and then rub it off with water), and moisturize after a shower (I use cerave). MCT oil is just coconut oil with most components of it removed, leaving only multi-chain triglycerides. All this means is you're left with a neutral oil that is non-comedogenic, as in it won't cause acne. "Why can't I just use coconut oil". Some people can. But there's components of coconut oil that fungi like yeast will thrive on. This means if you use coconut oil as a daily thing like this, you may eventually get fungal skin issues. I did, that's what lead me to research this and figure it out. No issues at all since I switched to MCT oil a year ago. And it's been so good that I shill it to everyone I know who has skin issues.
Wash your bedsheets once a week. I started doing it as a teenager and my bacne went down by like 90% in a month.
