      Excuse me?

      The ratio of LDL:HDL?

They both translate to HDL because they're both polyunsaturated.

        Anonymous

        They all*

Seed oils and fish oils both increase HDL, "good", cholesterol. You're right that a balanced ratio is thought to be optimal, and also fish oil, omega 3s, they're good for other reasons. But what ratio? The only ratio relevant doesn't apply because they both end up as the same kind of cholesterol.

          Anonymous

Also, seed oils produce some LDL that's worse than normal LDL.

Yes goy, eat the fish oils that go rancid before they even hit the shelves.

also when I say olive oil I mean "extra virgin olive oil".

But seriously, not all sneed oils are created equally and with most things, the dose makes the poison. Sesame oil is a seed oil, yet it doesn't really register as bad when obtained via cold pressing. It's when you get hydrogenated oils and chemically extruded shit that should raise the red flags. The whole seed oil shit is largely just another boogeyman that focuses on one part of the larger problem which is and always has been overconsumption of processed foods.

Yes, the peatard are moronic because they only care about "LE PUFA" without understanding that eating pork is perfectly fine, and it has nothing in common with heavily processed, and oxidized to shit sneed oils that have to be treated in so many ways to get the rancid taste removed from them.
But then again peatards think that carbs are healthy and that fructose is some gremlin magic.

      Easy, burn your fat fatty.

Initially you'll lose a bit of stored fat naturally just from avoiding the linoleic acid. Other than that you just have to keep avoiding it and give it time. Don't use fish oil unless you want to give yourself prostate cancer.

It doesn't seem to be possible to avoid seed oils from eating out. You can minimize the damage by not getting anything deep fried but that's about it. They're going to use a cheap oil because they want to make a profit.

I've looked around have not found one place in my city that does frying in tallow or beef dripping or something similar. The only place I have even heard of that being done is a place in England that uses dripping for deep frying.

Olive Oil is high and PUFA and isn't recommended for most cooking because of the oxidisation of the oil in the cooking process. You're much better using tallow or ghee and saving olive oil as a dressing.

Very low smoke point. Use ghee instead.

        Anonymous

homie what are you cooking that it’s smoke point is that important, do you cook everything on high? Or are you just deep frying everything. Ghee is fine and same with butter and tallow, but smoke point is only important for like pan searing steaks and deep frying.

        Anonymous

Smoke point isn't everything and most cooking happens at a way lower temperature anyway. Olive oil is actually more stable at higher temperatures than other vegetable oils. Ghee is okay, but still has too much saturated fat imo. Besides that, extra virgin olive oil offers a high amount of polyphenols, which are very good for your health.

Still bad but apparently you can get cold pressed peanut oil which is a hell of a lot better than it being extracted via solvents and extreme heat

      Anonymous

You haven't provided enough information to give a proper answer. The entire debate around "sneed" oils is whether they've been heated to insane temperatures or chemically washed during processing. These things make them unhealthy. If the oil you're cooking with hasn't been exposed to those things, it's fine.

Good rule of thumb is animal fats are fine.

the only way to purge the sneed is to fight the sneed like peasants or becoming politically involved

get into politics is the only way, too much money being generated from massive factories pumping sneed into all the food
or helping people actually learn in simple english why all the sneed is so bad for your health since so many oils, esp veg.
will oxidize and become toxic to your body from being stored in the light, heat and left opened for too long

Tallow can handle up to 200 degrees
Butter can handle up to 150 degrees
"Cold pressed" sneed oils 107 degrees
(BUT 100% of all sneed oils are already ruined by the time it has reached your household, too much processing & transport)
    > vegans are literally the biggest israelites in the healthy industry gambling with other peoples lives, all their food is made up of this shit.
as well as cooking the shit in sneed when the actual food staple is SNEED.

    > provide people with the best possible advice with reference in where to buy tallow or sell it yourself

    wait, olive oil is bad?

      Anonymous

It's mid-range. The problem is the possibility that when heated it releases compounds similar to other seed oils because it has been mixed with other seed oils. If it really is pure and it releases aldehydes then that's also bad but obviously for a different reason.

There's no situation where you need to heat anything with olive oil, where you can't use something safer. You can still use it for chimichurri and similar, though.

Stop eating processed food. If you only buy actual real food ingredients like meat, veggies, dried beans, etc. Then there is no seed oil hidden in it. Also fasting to be fat, and maybe even some dry fasting to really tear up those stubborn fat stores since it burns even more fat than regular fasting in order to extract water from those fat cells.

The only regular source of sneed oil is all the canola in Hellmann's. What are some tasty mayonnaise brands without it? Tried some homemade shit with greek yogurt but it's not the same, gotta cut it 50/50 with Hellmann's for a decent taste.

      Anonymous

Greek yoghurt is pretty bad as a condiment but you can use it to make tzatziki which is a lot better. I think the only time I use Greek yoghurt straight is as a dipping sauce when I cook mexican.

Mayo is one that people find really hard to replace. Tonight I made smash burgers and used mustard on one side and butter on the other. It was great but it's not a substitute for something like a spicy mayo. You just end up doing things a bit differently.
