Frick off, I’ve been doing it for the past two months and it works. I’ve lost maybe 1kg so it’s not just because of that either. I look way better.
Body recomp only work in two very specific scenarios: >you're a total beginner, never lifted weights and ate right >you're on PEDs
It simply does not work otherwise. That's about it.
yeah, as a long time ISThead, I never had to recomp until recently, when I gained some chub after some meds. I'm an athletic guy and I thought you can recomp maybe, but it's never ending cycle.
If you're athletic, you've got a lot of glycogen stored in your muscles. So you go on a diet, you lose 10 kilos in a month, you look like shit, because it was all glycogen and fat didn't even budge. So you start eating over maintance again, you fill up, you look better, you gain back the 10 kilos and you're back to starting point
the problem is -- your body first burns glycogen storage and then fat
unless I'm doing something wrong, idk
glycogen is just what your body stores in your muscles for short/midterm power. Basically what you eat gets 1. directly consumed 2. stored as glycogen in muscles and organs or 3. stored as triglycerides in your fat cells.
The reason why you immediatly see results of bulking after a few days of bulking and immediatly deflate after a few days of eating below your daily kcal need is that your glycogen saves are being filled or emptied. Thats why you have less power when you eat less even though the body gets all the needed power from the fat cells - because theres nothing stored in your muscle cells.
But that doesn't mean you lose muscle.
First your glycogen storages empty, then your body starts using your triglycerides and then you can start eating again and your muscles will fill back to where they were (maybe a little less if you fastet really hard for a long time)
>how does body recomp work?
The more protein you eat, the more recomp.
Maximum is at about 4g of protein per kg of body weight. > what can i expect?
Increase in muscle mass and decrease in BF.
>how do u get rid of it
Literally all you need to do is fast for 48h and it's donzo. Just then fast even longer to lose fat.

Im even taking shady supps and no recomp in sight... Only fatloss with minimal muscle loss, strength barely decreasing definetely not increasing.
Maingaining natty might be posible, recomping isnt.
Less fat.
Slightly less muscle.
>how does body recomp work?
It doesn’t
>what can I expect
To bulk and cut instead

wtf is glycogen and how do u get rid of it
it's what fills and fuels your muscles. You get rid of it by dieting. Which makes you look flat af

you take a bunch of steroids for a 2-3 months while eating and training regularly
you end up with more muscle and less fat
