It's well known that sharts' view of what counts as fat is skewed by constant exposure to fat people.

Yeah, it's like this here too.
      >rural Kansas
Lots of overweight boomers, but young people are almost all thin or IST, zero obeasts or deathfats unless it's a subhuman visiting from the burbs for produce or something.
      >suburban Kansas
Everyone is fat, especially the women. Probably just under half of them are obese. Some young dudes are IST. ~1/40 >people are deathfats. Thin people are rare.
      >urban Kansas/Missouri (KC, St. Louis)
Even fricking fatter than the suburbs, especially the blacks. Probably 80%+ are at least overweight, obeast hamplanets and deathfats are more common. The rich neighborhoods tend to be thin or IST and White, with the occasional fat boomer, but they have nothing going on except golf and drinking.

100%, you don't even need to roid, just have arms and abs. Literal monkey moron training will get you in better shape than most in fricking Wichita or wherever.

Why are there barely any fat young people in rural kansas
I thought rural areas were fatties

Nah. Like I said, boomers and older people are definitely overweight, but I've never seen a morbidly obese person in my home town and the fattest dude I've seen there is just regular obese. Unless there's a future My 600 lb Life freak hiding in a basement somewhere, but shit, I wouldn't know.

That's generally where they are tbh. The death fats aren't the ones you see actually functioning in society.

Bmi is horseshit though. I'm 12% bodyfat consistently (I know, not mega lean, but definitely healthy) and lift/train regularly. 6 times a week for 2-3 hours. I'm 6'3 and 195 and my bmi is 24.4, with 25 being overweight. It's horse shit. I know plenty of shorter guys with similar muscle as me, but because of their smaller frame they'd definitely be overweight despite being fit as hell.

I dont doubt america is MEGA fricked with fatties and lard asses. I see it ever day, especially when I go to poorer neighborhoods or have to brave a Walmart or target. But bmi still is horse shit...

It doesn't work for maybe 5% of the population. If that. It is a perfectly good metric for the rest of the fatties in the US.

It's not. You can be a normal healthy weight as a dyel skinnyfat, but the second you hit the gym and objectively make yourself healthier by putting on more weight in the form of muscle, you're getting less "healthy" according to the bmi. If I were to train really hard and maingain 5 pounds of pure muscle, I'd be overweight. And its even worse the shorter you are and the more 5 pounds of muscle makes up a higher % of your weight. It's a shit metric.

You are a dyel. You have no muscle. If you did, you'd be overweight or close to it.

          >second you hit the gym
BMI is for people who don't do this. If people stuck to this mentality then its harder to make an argument against BMI. Idk whatever study they pulled from has level of activity accounted for

I am stronger and more fit than you. I am overweight. I also recognize I am in the small minority of people where that BMI distinction means nothing. That isn't the case for over 95% of people.

Not doubting you or anything, but how do you manage to recover in time for your next workout? If your sessions are 2-3h, and you lift every day, how the heck do you avoid burning out your CNS? Are you on gear? Or do you mainly focus on isolation exercises without the big barbell movements that cause the most fatigue? Still, 2-3h per workout is crazy long. Most people would fall apart under that kind of regime.

Genuinely interested in your reply, anon.

        nta but I have a similar program - 6d/w, 2-3h/d. Been lifting a year.
I don't lift too heavy, instead I do high reps (usually 35 reps per set, but as low as 10 x 4 on hard exercises like lateral raises) and take longer breaks between sets. The first exercise is often 20-30 minutes because I'll rest for 5-10 min (actually rest for 2-3 min, and read IST or twitter or news tbqh). Currently dumbbells about 1/3 bodyweight, bar about half bodyweight, and I use resistance bands that are about equal to bodyweight, plus calisthenics on a pullup bar. I am always sore at the end of a workout but only shaking/weak on the first 1-2 days where I increase the weight or # of reps. I do a simple 2 day push/pull split, had good legs already so I just do one exercise 3x a week for them. I lift about 35-40,000lbs/day. I'm 5'8" 160.
I'm an oldgay (early 50s) and train at home without a lot of equipment so using smaller weights is the easiest way to avoid risking injury.
I take creatine and vitamins, drink lots of water, eat only whole foods and do a deload every 2-3 months to 50% of normal weight for a week and then build the weight back up over the next 2 weeks. BMI is 24, bf% about 12-15, I look a bit more jacked than I am because manlet, lean, and decent frame proportions.

    >Are you treated better?
Yes, when hanging out with friends (I have no skinny friends) I always get better service at stores and restaurants than they do.
    >Are Fatties jealous of you?
Also yes, my nickname at my last job was "slim". Their was constant teasing about me being skinny. The sad thing is, I'm on the upper end of healthy weight, 6'1" 180lbs.

You get treated as if you are always on a strict diet.
    >"WOWWW anon!!! you're not having soda??" what are you on a diet or something? I could never do that, I should probably go to the gym though
They treat talking to you like a therapy session because its probably one of the few times they aren't talking to fatties

Idk if it's my area or what... but it doesn't really feel like anything. Most people where I live (Around orlando, FL) seem to be in shape. Yeah obviously there are fat people, but id argue the majority of people I see are in shape.

I very rarely see fat people when I'm going on my morning runs, or walking my dog at the park, maybe I'd see more if I went to restraunts and shit but that's just for fattys in general.

I was at the gas station today to grab some quick sips. I saw this enourmas fat frick wheezing trying to get back into his car after filling up on gas. I got my sips and got back in my car. When I started to back out, he quickly drove behind me then stopped which completely blocked me into my parking spot. That’s when I noticed the handicapped plaque. I could also see he was sitting on his phone scrolling tiktok. After a minute of this, I honked to get his attention. He looked at me and gave an annoyed shrug like I was the problem. I had to do an 18 point turn to maneuver out of that spot. That lardass just sat and watched. I can’t wait until we find a way to harness fatties as an alternative source of energy, that bigga has enough calories to power a small neighborhood for a few weeks
