It's mediocre to good. Better than it's reputation because the performance problems and most bugs have been fixed (at least on pc) but you can feel that there are a lot of features missing.
Good story, good characters, amazing music. Combat and gunplay feel very good. If you like edgerunners or just cyberpunk setting then you will have a lot of fun.
because I poined out the games strengths obviously (funny that I have to explain this to you). Graphics are bad, cars don't feel good, customization is not as good as you would expect it. A lot of areas are closed off because they ran out of time. The game generally feels shallow in some areas. And stop trying to be edgy
I really like it and have since release but I didn't keep up with any of the pre-launch hype and promises, so can see why it got soured for people. Also I'm a loregay for the actual world and have all the 2020 ttrpg books so yknow
i've bought into the anime hype and pirated it, 5 mins in my character and his butt buddy t-pose slide into a car. then when i got to the open world my car sunk into the roads. also, terrible performance - cant even hit 100+ fps on 1080p even though i have a 3080, so i want to say no
On release it was...rough. It has gotten better since though, or at least so I hear
The story is good and the gameplay should also be pretty solid. It's really just the performance and bugs that hold it back.
i found keanu reeves charector to be kind of cringe, overall the themes in the video game feel forced, probably becuase they ran out of time but also they just seem to kind of misunderstand what is cool .
>is cyberpunk good?
No, it’s sappy and emotionally manipulative. I don’t care that it’s a dystopian world (ironically shown much more happy than it should be), playing it is like asking to be depressed. It wants to be contemplative but it doesn’t give you anything to contemplate - it straight up tells you it’s narrative beats. And the gameplay? Just babbys first FPS. And finally no character is fundamentally interesting outside of V and a prostitute who is barely in the game.
i can't take the modern anime aesthetic seriously
everyone looks neotenous and they stopped bothering trying to ever make faces detailed (even in close up shots, it's always bland mild shading)
10+ years for a manlet, if you're above 6 feet forget it
~~*david*~~
calisthenics 4 times a week
cybernetic implants to failure
>tfw no mean blue gremlin girl who screams that she wants to be your gf at the top of her lungs in public
is fitness a dead hobby in cyberpunk world i wonder
Of course, most people just use body parts.
it's not, there's a gang called the animals composed entirely of roided goons who when not being mercs either lift or fight in underground clubs
Is the game any good?

>"it's mediocre to good"
>Categorizes each element of it as "good", "very good" or "amazing"
Kys you inconsistent fool.

Unironically kys.
It's excellent.

the anime has people deluding themselves into thinking the game is anything but a hilarious mess again.
Its average at best.
Yeah the show is pretty average too but at least the crew is way more interesting than the game’s shit cast
There's a ripperdoc in the game who's ripped as frick and takes pride in being purely 'ganic.

Faces aren't detailed in real life.
