You already do. Maybe work on your back a bit.

I probably work on my back the most. Why is it so shit? I probably see my back lifts going up the most consistently too.

Do you do enough volume? Back takes a bunch.
Maybe try some different exercises that help you feel it more in your back too.

I do what I can I guess. I push myself the most with it I think.
I see people flex their back muscles when they take a picture. I didn't do that here. Could that be the problem?

do pull ups until you hate yourself, then do some more until you love yourself

        rinse/ repeat

Arm, shoulders and abs looking good.
Give extra emphasis to upper chest exercises: Cable pullovers, incline bench etc

Will do that. I'm not happy with how my chest looks honestly.

Go outside, sit somewhere with a lot of people walking past for an hour or so. Take a good look at the people you see. You'll probably notice that 95% of them are fat, out of shape and ugly.

Well I mean young 16 - 25 year old, middle class+ males. So my competition basically.

You're moving the goal posts. First you said normie standard. To me normie mindset is demonstrated most by the fat middle aged soccer mom.
The standard of middle class males age 16-25 is a lot higher. If you want to look impressive in comparison to them you need a lot more work

I'm 21 lol so I don't care about what middle-aged soccer moms want.
I know I need to do more.
I've been lifting for a year so far, but the first 6 months were me really half-assing it. I think I made most "progress" in the last few months or so.

It really grinds my gears, when i see athletes cruch their bodies, while ahowing off their physique.
You should try to make yourself look good with good posture.
Going to the beach and seeing some guy with decent physique, yet intentionally bad posture, makes it cringe.
If you have a crooked back, then it’s forgivable, but crunching your body, especially in public to show off, looks ridiculously try hard.

      Anonymous

what do you mean by crunching? Are you saying my posture is bad?
I didn't try to show off anything here. What do you mean?

Not him but your posture is not optimal. It looks like you are leaning forward

Other than the gym and work I basically rot 24/7 as an incel loser. Might be why. But I also took this screenshot from a video I took so I might've just been leaning over a bit.
It's not the first time I was told my posture is shit though.

To be exact it’s the inward/foreward shoulders.
            Pull your shoulders back.

I usually do that when i'm outside. Isn't that supposed to happen naturally though if you have a good posture?

It's only a summer wagie job and it's the kind where it's more suited for guys. Only women that work there are old.
During college, I go out to bars and nightclubs sometimes with my "friends" if you can call them that and I do get approached pretty often but I always either sperg out and run away or I don't know what to say and they either get bored or think i'm not interested. I have very little experience talking with women so I don't know how to do it properly.

Why are they so-called "friends" if you go to bars and clubs with them? This doesn't sound totally genuine. Are they butthole idiots or...?

                Anonymous

Well I mean they're more acquaintances who are nice enough to bring me along sometimes. I used to have friends that just brought me out to use me as a lolcow.

                Anonymous

Acquaintances sound more genuine and friendly, but fake ""friends"" who wanna use you as set-up prop for mogging and lolcow mockery is shitty. So ditch them and good you're getting approached by femoids at bars. Keep lifting and project good posture and confidence.

I guess. I'm only going into my second year in September so I have a lot more time to get to know them better. I do feel like i'm getting older and it's embarrassing to be an incel at my age so I have to hurry up.

You need to improve posture by holding shoulders back.

Give more attention to pecs, biceps/triceps, traps and your lats definition. If you were standing more straight in pic, full chest muscle development might be more obvious. Abs look good.

You need more muscle bulk in areas mentioned above, but do look pretty fit imo.

You seem to have good arm genetics but your chest seems to be lagging, you may need to find an alternative to benching to engage your chest if that’s primarily what you’re doing (by the looks of it).

my chest is my weakest too, I think I'm going to emphasize on incline bench because of it

I think for a long time I was benching with my arms instead of chest. Recently I started squeezing my chest and I can feel it burn more now.

Lose weight, don’t do any more trap exercises, work on your chest more. Your obliques make you look fat so try not to work that out anymore or pull your pants up like Bruce lee used to. If your insertions and skeleton are more square you might just have those proportions. Nice arms.

I never once trained my traps

Don’t train obliques either tbh, had to look up what they are. Are there compound exercises that target those too?

Yeah and that sucks. Your body isn’t going to have good aesthetics. Your compounds trained them too much. While you were working on back, you trained upper traps.

        is square skeleton bad?

Yeah. No v taper. You look like the right. Train your chest more and stop doing compounds that make your obliques and traps too big.

just do you guys know this dude im quoting has massive body dysmorphia. real life isnt like a photo, nobody is looking at you fully frontally, those "obliques that make him look fat" look completely normal if he just turns a couple degrees to the side.

to the dude im quoting: stop spending so much time looking at the mirror. you mean well, but your mindset is poison both to yourself and others
