      How do you isolate lower lats? I'm experimenting with half reps lately but it seems doing half reps closer to the top his the lower part. Wondering if others have had success isolating them without access to cables or a pullover machine. Guess I may be doing db pullovers wrong or just have shit lat insertions.

        eat less carbs overall. no sugar, no candy. only on occasion (like 2-4 times a week in small amounts). can be like a few squares of chocolate for example.
        the less active insulin is in your body, the easier it is to not pack on bodyfat. when you eat grains like rice or buckwheat or whatever, make sure it's on a day that you've trained intensively.
        essentially, eat real food, exercise hard and sleep a lot.

    Im at 13% bf but aiming for single digit by this summer and i can't stand it, i think it's only feasible if u roid, i can feel my muscle and bone mass decreasing but if it gets too muchi will stop and try to maintain it until next fall, i have no problem sleeping but i feel like i need 10h sleep instead of my usual 7h, i'm in a bad mood all day since i eat only in the morning at night to keep the intake as low as possible, i will start supplimenting vitamins to see if it improves my mood, but the hunger got bad at my current bf, as soon as this cut is done with im gonna start eating 5 tiny meals a day like 500 kcal each with 25g of protein to see if it helps

      I understand your perspective is from someone who is still cutting, but if you were just trying to keep your bf and not cutting do you think the sleep and mood issues would be resolved? I can see myself reaching those digits but I don't think it would be worth it if it would harm my lifestyle in general

    what the frick are you talking about? 15% is borderline peak bulk bodyfat, you realistically never should be above 16-17%, at that point you are just fat with an eating disorder trying to mask it as "bulking". 15% is completely normal and incredibly easy to maintain.

    Suicide cutting to X bodyfat is not the same as maintaining X bodyfat. If you started at 30% and have been eating 1200kcal a day frick yeah you are gonna feel depleted and like total shit even at 20% bodyfat. Its all about getting your baseline bodyfat to that level and then switching to maintenance. My maintenance calories are more or less the exact same at ~13% as they were when I was ~25% bodyfat. So its exactly as easy to maintain my current physique as it was my 25% bodyfat physique.

    The problems are generally in the single digit range when you start experiencing hormonal issues and then also fatigue and because of that you have low energy and because you have low energy you dont want to train so you burn less calories, you maintain less lean muscle mass and it triggers you to binge eating. None of this is relevant in the 12-15% range. Definitely not 15%.

    I'm at right around 15% and it takes no effort at all. Just eating at a maintenance level and regular exercise.
    There was a time when I was trying to reach a super low fat percentage and I got down to 9% but could not maintain it for long. At that point various problems came up - I felt weaker, even though my lifts didn't change, it felt like I need to put in several times more effort, another problem was that my libido was completely gone, third was my sleep - I suddenly needed a lot more sleep to feel good. Normally I sleep about 6.5-7 hours and at low body fat I was sleeping 8.5 and still woke up feeling shitty.
    When my body fat returned to about 12-13% I felt good again

    I’m at 13-14% in this photo and as long as you get your protein, lift at least a couple times a week and stay within a couple hundred kcals of maintenance you can hold it indefinitely.

    It’s when you get down to sub 12% that even a couple days of shitty diet will make your abs blurry again
