How many calories?

Bottom is made out of mashed potatoes, there's a bit of tomato sauce and a lot of those meatballs on top of it and it got finished with cheese on top pizza style. How many calories are in here? For reference, the length of this thing is roughly a 1.5 liter water bottle. I'm still hungry after eating that and 2 other meals, so I wanna know if there's still room for more.

You used mashed potato as surrogate pizza dough? How did it hold together?

Now that you mention it, I think we used a bit of milk, an egg and something else in very small amounts

    Rough estimate:
    500 calories for the meatballs
    500 calories for the crust
500 calories for the cheese and sauce
    Roughly 1500 kcals total

For the whole thing? I'm gonna go ahead and doubt. Anyway why count? That's easily enough food for a day or two.

        Very rough estimate
It depends how many calories in the meatballs which is hard to estimate. The meatballs could be anywhere between 500-1000 cals depending on how they were made (with butter ect.). Its also a little bit hard to estimate how much cheese was used because its melted but it didn't look like a ton so I just assumed around a half cup or so.

Thats really cool that you did something like this with your mom. If you had measurments of the pan then you can start making rough estimates on volumes of food. I would doubt its over 1500 cal tho.

    meatballs should be ~1050
pizza should be about the same, so about ~2100 calories total?

Mashed potato - say 6 Maris Pipers, 83cals each
    >498cals
6 sausages to make the meatballs, 109cals each
    >654cals
Tomato sauce, approx 1 can, 94cals
    >94cals
    Cheese, maybe around 200cals?
    >Total 1446cals

A lot if you're eating another two meals, but fine for OMAD. Excellent, even.

for my homemade pizzas I just weigh the toppings
    175g of mozzarella+7 slices of pepperoni = 667kcal, 45g protein
I don't bother with the dough or sauce, I just guess that it's a few hundred more. I'm 221kcal below my goal on myfitnesspal, so I know the dough will make up the gap and I've eaten enough.
