Is egg the ultimate bodybuilding food? According to old school bodybuilders, eating 36 eggs a day is similar to a dianabol cycle

like 3-6. I am a fatass on a large cut though. I'd probably eat a minimum of 6 a day when I go back to maintenance.

You get more protein from cooked eggs than raw eggs

      Anonymous

What I've read is that the protein is less important than the cholesterol intake for testosterone production. Eating a frickload of raw eggs give you protein and also some nutty testosterone boost like TRT.

how does cooking affect the cholesterol levels?

          Anonymous

The cholesterol in the yolks can be oxidized by cooking. Some cooking methods are better than others. Flash boiling a.k.a. half-boiling was popular with old school bodybuilders. This method sets the white, increasing the bioavailability of the protein, while leaving the yolk runny and cholesterol intact. I personally think this method and over easy are delicious. If I'm short on time, nothing beats the convenience of slonking 6 eggs raw.

thanks for the tip anon. I like to leave the yolk completely raw and cook the white like picrel, and eat it on top of steak. Will try flash boiling in my instant pot to see results

            >slonking 6 eggs raw
Bioavailability goes down by literally half with raw eggs though. I prefer to soft boil a larger batch if I don't want to do it every day.

              Anonymous

yeah the point was that you eat eggs to get the test boost from cholesterol not the protein
besides it's really easy to get enough protein I eat 1500 kcal a day and I'm always over 150g

              >Bioavailability goes down by literally half with raw eggs
ONLY for the protein. Cooking eggs brings down the bioavailability of every other nutrient significantly and it oxidizes the cholesterol in the yolk.

                >Cooking eggs brings down the bioavailability of every other nutrient significantly
                Source: I made it up
                >Egg whites contain high levels of avidin, a protein that binds biotin strongly. When cooked, avidin is partially denatured and binding to biotin is reduced.

I have four a fay, but honestly I've been thinking of upping it to eight, four for lunch, four for supper, because it'd be cheaper than buying meats at this point which I usually have for supper. Any anons here having mega-egg diets?

No, and salmonella is pussy b***h shit anyway, if you have a functional immune system it'll barely even bother you if you do get it.

You have to eat thousands upon thousand upon thousands of eggs within a very short period of time to have a quantifiably measurable risk of salmonella
