How many gym days per week is too much?

      No such thing
I go every day so I can get my money's worth from my subscription
It's not like you need to be heavy lifting all 7 days a week
My actual workout days are Mon/Wed/Fri
For Tue/Thur/Sat/Sun I will just do some cardio, kb swings and maybe some light accessories if I feel like it

I go every other day (4-5 times a week) and I think any more than that would be too much.

Every other day would be 3-4 times a week moron.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. That is 4 days.

ok now do a 5 days every other day example

Week 1 - Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Week 2 - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
Week 3 - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday
Week 4 - Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday
Week 5 - Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday
Week 6 - Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday

No matter how you look at it, if you workout every other day, you work out 4 times a week.

4 and above. If you are doing proper work as a natty 3 days a week you are optimised. Your recovery is more important

PPL is unironically the best routine for a natty and that is 5/6

I used to think 6 days low volume was the way but on further consideration it seems natties really need the extra time off

4 is pretty optimal tbqh, as long as you get good sleep

    Train everyday. Periodize training.

    5. You want to leave Friday and Saturday open for socializing, instead of gymceling.

anything over 4 days is gymcel territory
I guess you could go 5 days if you REALLY like training but if you're natty and not training like a pussy 4 days is perfect

Cope. If you can't handle 6 days why are you even trying? Even 7 is easily doable if you just train different parts.

ask me how I know you don't even bench 2 plates

I don't do barbell bench because it's moronic. Dumbbell incline, cables, and dips.

I think 5 is the sweetspot for gym rats. It's hard to go less than that

I got 7 days a week for the brain gains. Can't go without.

    Depends on routine
I've doing an arm-heavy PPL rn to try and make up for getting memed by Mehdi and Ripplebreasts, 5 days a week and I feel like my arms would snap off without those two rest days (I go for an hour walk outside on one of the rest days)
