If you’re not from Ireland, England, or Scotland, you’re not white. Finns are chinks, Russians are chinks, Danish and the rest of the far north are snow Black folk. Frenchies and the rest have dark hair from being raped by Italians and Spanish who were raped by Shit-skin neanderthals. The Isles of the least raped are the true whites with naturally fair skin and the full spectum of hair colors.
Now if you’re a true white you drink milk, eat potatoes, and oats and you LOVE them.

Look, I've tried the whole oats thing. It gave me MASSIVE shits, horrible gas, and unbearable bloating. Literally every time I had oats for breakfast I'd spend like half an hour in the toilet at work, shitting my damned soul out. Then I saw the light and went full carnivore. No digestive issues ever again. I didn't even realise how bad it was until it got better.

Oats are a meme, humans can't digest that crap.

Why on Earth would you think that? It's horrible, it made me feel gross, it caused a mess and a stink, it was embarrasing in social situations when I had to literally leave the room so I could rip a massive stinky one. There is nothing good about intestinal distress. Now I rarely ever fart, I'm never bloated, I shit once a day or two days, and generally don't notice my digestive processes almost at all.

Humans aren't cows, we're not supposed to fart and belch all day, and we're not supposed to be taking massive steamy shits three times a day.

not bad just a bit worse. notably imo buckwheat has better copper/zinc ratio (copper often too low in diet especially if zinc supplements are taken), better magnesium/potassium, higher niacin, lower fat. oats have higher selenium which is pretty big granted, higher zinc and iron (though these more easily obtained from meat), higher fat so more calories but less a strict carb source.

            >If you don't have impaired digestion via autoimmune diseases within your gut lining, then there is no advantage to tubers over grains.
A diet heavy in grains will inevitably damage the gut lining of anyone, regardless of any genetic conditions. Even if this weren't the case, as you yourself have already admitted, grains have numerous "shortcomings", many of which can be avoided by eating tubers instead, and all of which can be avoided by eating fruit instead of either.

This is a textbook example of a disingenuous argument.

Why is it that sugar based is superior? It seems like the amount of fruits and athlete would have to eat to get enough carbs would be huge?
Oatmeal and bread taste great and are simple to prep; what makes rice and potatoes superior?

                >Why is it that sugar based is superior?
The short answer is that fruit wants to be eaten while grains don't. Most fruits are specifically designed to be eaten as a means of spreading seeds, which survive digestion and are deposited with feces in a location far from the place they were eaten.

Grains on the other hand are just seeds, and they are intended to grow into a new plant, not be eaten. They have evolved a variety of protective mechanisms to fend off disease and fungi and insects, all of which are chemical, since plants can't run away from predators. While some of these chemicals are benign or even beneficial for humans, the vast majority are not. Fruit is preferable as a carb source because it has far, far less of these compounds.

                >what makes rice and potatoes superior?
Compared to other grains, white rice is superior because the husk, bran, and germ of the rice which are removed via the milling process are also the parts which contain the majority of the compounds you want to avoid. Potatoes are superior for a similar reason: being mostly underground, they are far less subject to predation and haven't needed to develop the same level of chemical defenses as above-ground plants.

Which fruits do you recommend, and how to consume them? Oats are easily measured and bread comes in slices. Too many bananas and I shit up a storm.

Personally I prefer citrus and tropical fruits. Stuff that's adapted to a warmer environment can generally stay preserved better during the shipping process. Frozen concentrates are better than you'd think because they're processed and preserved very quickly after being picked so maintain their freshness very well. I usually get my fruit from smoothies and my lazy breakfast smoothie (orange juice concentrate, whatever frozen fruit I have on hand, collagen powder) ends up around 700 calories.

This guy claims that fruits are the more based carb. That they Want To Be Eaten more than a potato Wants To Be Eaten.

Name one reason potatoes are not the most based carb

Correct. The best foods are ones that are either intended to be food (fruit, honey, milk) or that aren't intended to be food, but have physical rather than chemical defense mechanisms (meat). Animals don't want to be eaten but if you can overcome their physical defenses and eat them anyway, there are no harmful defensive compounds in their meat like there are in seeds or vegetables.

So, no vegetables then? Could you list out the foods you actually think useful for human life??

This is what humans ate for the vast, vast, vast majority of our existence. Vegetables are fine in small amounts as flavoring but you shouldn't be eating lots of them on a daily basis. If you're determined to eat lots of vegetables, anything growing underground is preferable to anything growing aboveground. Compared to grains, vegetables aren't that bad. But for the most part, plants should be used medicinally, not as food.

Interesting stuff. May I ask where you learned all this? And how it's affected you?

                >May I ask where you learned all this?
Over a very wide range of sources over many years. Lots of nutrition studies covering the past century of research in food and nutrition, lots of evolutionary biology, lots of common sense.
                >And how it's affected you?
I've had some huge improvements in how I feel after easing myself into a diet like this that's (by modern standards) pretty restrictive. My overall energy levels improved, quality of sleep improved, various aches and pains virtually disappeared (I'm in my late thirties) and so on.

I don't have a gall bladder and so can't handle lots of fats. Would such a diet approach still work for me? Or would my macros get all weird?

The ideal macro ratio is something like 80:10:10 carbs:fats:protein so you're basically being forced into the optimal fat intake already. Your caloric intake should be mostly fruit supplemented by nutrient-dense meats - organ meats - most of which aren't very fatty. Lower the carbs if you need more protein but keeping fat at 10% or less of your caloric intake is what everyone should be doing.

What do you expect, you want me to give you a link to every study I've read over the past decade? I'm not here to spoon feed you. Either you're smart enough to realize the basic intuitive logic behind what I'm recommending and go do your own research or you're not. Expecting someone on a site like this to provide conclusive proof of something as broad and complex as what I'm claiming is absurd.

That ratio is maddeningly protein-scarce man. What would become of my muscles if I ate like that?! Is there a protein-er approach that is pseudo viable in your estimation?

We need way less protein than people think. Especially when it comes to overall health and longevity, a lower protein intake is much better. But you can feel free to lower your carb intake to make room for more protein. As far as macro ratios go, keeping fat low is the most important part.

    >Scoop of wheat-bran and oats.
    >Salt
    >Homemade bone broth
    >Whole milk.
Made passing stool at the end of the day much easier than when it was vegetable soup (mainly for the bone broth).
Also served with 3 eggs (whole milk, salt, mix, fried on pure butter) and kefir and you've got a perfect breakfast.

I always leave these threads less knowledgeable than when I went in. The debates about optimal carbs are endless and seem totally inconclusive. Still have no clue whether rice, pitatoes, yams, oatmeal, or bread is better.

      >The debates about optimal carbs are endless and seem totally inconclusive.
Because most people argue from a point of emotion,
      >i like to eat X carb therefore they must be the best/healthiest
rather than objectively considering which one is the best.

Of the carbs you listed, bread and oatmeal are tied for the worst, brown rice is slightly better, white rice and potatoes are much better, and yams are the best. That said, sugar-based carbs are always preferable to starch-based carbs. Sugars have always been the natural source of carbs for humans, with starches being either a starvation food (tubers) or something unnatural that was introduced very recently via agriculture (grains).

    I just had:

    2 cups of oats
    2 lbs of greek yogurt
    Frozen berries
    ~5 tablespoonf of peanut butter

    All mixed together.

Nah. Oats are just questionable for eating constantly. Cooked meals will always be superior to oats and I am considering replacing them entirely.

I'm an opportunist feeder and can handle most things.
What I'm not designed for as I've noticed is eating herbivore feed for an extended period.
I've ate it daily some periods and it really messes my whole body up with inflammation in guts, joints, all over.
But it's yummy and prepared right some poison once in a while is fine.

    >1 cup steel cut oats
    >1 cup whole milk
    >2 scoops whey protein
Put it in a container with a lid, shake vigorously, leave it in the fridge overnight and in the morning you've got a filling meal that's high in carbs/protein for cheap. Since I started doing this I have way more energy and I shit like clockwork. Until someone can prove to me that oats are bad for me without using nonsense anecdotal evidence I will continue to eat them.
